Sudoku Puzzles

Hi Gail. I've decided to change my routine and post in evening instead of morning. I've been doing a new draft of my book and that occupies what little mental space i have

and I topped as well.

It is good that you will be visiting at night now. We are more liable to be able to catch up! Because as everyone knows, I am never here in the mornings (except for my sneak peeks almost every day!!!)

There are already oodles of sites on the internet with these puzzles. Do we really need to duplicate their efforts here?

Just mentioned it 'from because I was speaking to someone who wanted to go back and do one of the quizzes but couldn't remember which day it was on and didn't want to have to go trawling through the archives to find it. This would simplify things. I certainly don't want to take it out of the daily More...

If there are oodles of these sites on the internet, then we don't really need these puzzles at all. I have an aversion to riddles that have multiple 'correct' answers. What is fun is when sudokuists made up their own riddles, quizzes and puzzles.

Evening all - just catching up on emails etc before I go to work! Oh well, have to go back sometime, and at least by working nights I get to check in here when it's quiet.

Gail, I don't really think it's worth setting up a riddle/teaser page; as .from. said, there are loads of these sites available for those who are really interested. The idea here was a bit like André's TFTD, just a little post to entertain those who have a minute or two to try the riddle, and More...

maen all! I was very surprised to find the word "galosh" in From's puzzle today. For me it's a word of our local dialect, it doesn't even exist in a French dictionary! I'd like to know where it comes from for you!
