Kathy, seeing your answers, I think I should have gotten credit for my bonus answer. After all, wouldn't para New Jersey Devils fans fit that answer perfectly?

At last a cool day here, so Mrs. Wombat will be out in the garden. It really has been too hot for us oldies to be outside once it gets into the mid to high 30s Celsius (86 to 95F).

G**d *ne Jeb. We could easily come up with some secret codes. Not too long age my space bar gave up the ghost after a coffee spill. I had to send Kathy a message without any spaces, she read it easily.

Yep Jeb, It is my car, a 1929 Austin 7. It is till in good working order, but alas I can't drive it as it is not an automatic and my mangled left leg can't operate the clutch. Its garage mate, a 1936 Chrysler C8 has a much lighter clutch, and it's possible to drive short distances in it. See my home page for more photos.

Kathy, Jamie is correct. You can't say par‍apets, but you can say grape. How weird is that. And of course any word with ho‍mo in it has to be offensive. But that is the way some people's minds work and has worked since the site began.

Now there is a turnip for the books...homogeneous is allowed. Must has slipped through the filter.

Just as a matter of interest Kathy and Wombat, how long do you have to spend in the naughty corner? Never having been there myself.

Weeellll maybe once or twice until i figured out how to post all the 'supposedly' naughty words without using asterisks or spaces or slight deviations from the correct spelling.

Sorry I can't remember Uno, but I don't think it was very long.🚔⛓

Good maeN, good people. Adventure never stops in Sudokuland, does it? Speaking of plumbing, I need to try to caulk a leak. DorA made me think of Lawrence Welk at the page turn. The rest of you made me think of naughty words.

I have a popular digital library audiobook title I'm trying to get through before my time is up and it stops playing for me so the next person on the list gets to listen to it. So ...

The Queensland Furniture

A furniture dealer from Queensland decided that he wanted to expand the line of furniture in his store, so he decided to go to Paris to see what he could find.

No, Peter. We have had a lot of wind but also a bit of rain during the night. Whether the fire is out or not, I don't know. It's a few miles west of Albany. It must have been on the news for you to ask that. I didn't realise it was a very big fire. Only saw it from the road into town on my way to badminton yesterday evening. Not on the news.
