Wonderful photo! If I could I would go flying Montgolfier every day... 19/Feb/19 8:03 AM |  |
I try to go flying every so and so... we have 2 hot air balloons festivals. I use to spend holidays volunteering for the balloon's chasing team. It is so relaxing, floating above trees, no noise...watching sunset or sunrise...Wish you can try at least ounce in your lifetime! 19/Feb/19 8:27 AM |  |
Hello all - your comment Danstell, had me searching 'Montgolfier' - had no idea what its connection was to hot air balloons! That is an activity I've never tried, altho several friends have ground crewed for the pilots I would suppose it to be an rather expensive sport! 19/Feb/19 8:34 AM |  |
I went up in a hot air balloon one time. It was very peaceful and quiet, except when the guy running it fired off the burner. 19/Feb/19 9:42 AM |  |
It was fascinating watching the ground drift by. I don't feel the need to go again, but I did enjoy it. 19/Feb/19 9:43 AM |  |

PATHETIC PATHETIC PATHETIC Thanks to the five people who have responded to last Saturday's POOZLE. Where are the rest of you???? You still have over 4 hours to get something in. 19/Feb/19 10:41 AM |  |
Hello everyone from Cobar NSW, better travelling today as we have a cool wind blowing. Yesterday was so hot so the cars aircon got a good workout.Sorry Wombat didn't have time to do your poozle. 19/Feb/19 10:55 AM |  |
 Everyone! 19/Feb/19 11:13 AM |  |
Good maeN, good people. Wombat - I'm just about to go back through the days to find the poozle. Bear with me while I have my blissful solving me-time. 19/Feb/19 1:33 PM |  |
 I'll take post 29 before I start searching. 19/Feb/19 1:34 PM |  |
No one else around? Since 29 I have done Wombat's poozle and typed out the results for him, changed into my jammies, brought in firewood, stoked two woodstoves, decided on a cuppa decaf tea, caught up on Sudokuland posts AND checked out some of the newsfeed on TOS. 19/Feb/19 2:52 PM |  |
Tonight is supposed to be the largest (seeming) and brightest full moon of the year. When I went out to get firewood I noticed how bright the moonlight was. Of course, everything is coated with fresh snow, so there's a high albedo effect reflecting the light back up and around. 19/Feb/19 3:06 PM |  |
We are missing the moon tonight, since it behind thick clouds. I will keep looking to see if maybe some clouds will part for me. 19/Feb/19 3:20 PM |  |
OHHHH ohhh I lied. I just saw the huge moon between some thinner clouds. Thank you, Plum! Tomorrow the view might be even better, but snow is expected so the clouds will be thicker. 19/Feb/19 3:22 PM |  |
Thx, Plum. Inspired me to go out and take a look. Clear sky, big bright moon, and plenty of stars. 19/Feb/19 5:06 PM |  |
It isn't quite so PATHETIC now with two more people posting. Thank you to the two Ps. In all there were seven Sarah, Chris, Judy, Joyce, Kathy, Peter and Plum, but I would love to see some more. It is guaranteed to entertain, educate and stave off dementia..Here are the answers I was looking More... 19/Feb/19 5:13 PM |  |
