Only if you know how to read them, Sparks!
19/May/09 5:21 AM

And as most people don't know how to read the codes Sparks, the usefulness is limited on a Sudoku site unless you are trying to hide your comment.

the suspense will do us in CG! What's the prize BTW?
19/May/09 6:14 AM

Andre -- According to Yan Tran's Factorial Calculator, there are 4.032914611266057e+26 possible arrangements.
There are 525600 minutes in a year (approximately; assuming 365.000 days/year, which is not quite accurate). So you could test 262800 possibilities in a year.
So 4.03291...e26 divided More...

Fiona.... PRIZE???? Who said anything about a prize???? Your own sense of accomplishment should be more than satisfying! Besides, I'm cheap (but not easy).
19/May/09 6:21 AM

Lonewoof, does that mean if we start André's exercise we are guaranteed longevity? Now that is a PRIZE!

Correction - you are looking at 2 per minute, NOT 1 every 2 minutes...
So -- yes, that's MUCH better; looks like ~3.83648e20 years.
It's still going to be dark and cold...

19/May/09 6:27 AM

Yes, Greg, but remember: it's going to be even colder than Canada in January when you finish!

Kathy Endeavour wonderful English forename.
Have you seen any of the series Lewis? I rather like it and I was a big Morse fan.
19/May/09 6:48 AM

Hey Worldly People, just returned from a good doc visit, only to learn that my prego buddy's visit did not go so well. They have put her in the hospital for over night observation. Her BP is too high again. Please, keep her in your thoughts.
