So how are you "guys" (sorry Angie M) coping down there in Vic? The reports are not good, cannot even get in contact with my brother.

I had that happen once a heavy dust then it started raining red mud and I had cleaned the windows two days before Grrrrr.

power out across a fairly large area. here in the north of the state it has blown strongly but not the worst we have had, a small amount of rain and lots of red dust.

All doing well here, have lots of red dust on my car, have had a few brief showers, and the wind has died down. Luckly for us no major damage.

It would be noice to know how Gail is doing thou? Anyone heard from her this evening?

I just went outside to check and not a star to be seen and the wind has swung around to the south. Hubby is watching House through his eyelids. I was going to make him a cuppa.

not badly affected here suzy in the context of the storm that has gone over the southern part of the state.
bit more rain falling as we speak and maybe that will wash the red dirt of everything.

Woo Hoo just got my power back on. It has been off for 9 hours and I have had sudoku Chat withdrawal's.
My big wattle has split in half. One half is laying on the swing set and the other half is about to fall on the back fence and the neighbors house. I am waiting for the State Emergency More...

Oh and I just texted Gail so hopefully I will get a reply back.

Hi All, just got off the phone from my brother they are Ok in Box Hill.
Caz have you heard from Gail yet?

My son in Point Cook is OK but there are not many treees in that area.

Just got text from Gail. She has no power there and will not get it back until tomorrow she thinks. She was out earlier and then could not get back in to cockatoo. The winds have died down a bit for her now but they are still really bad here.

Going to watch Numbers will check back later to see if you have heard from Gail.
