Plum.. I never time myself anymore. I was getting frustrated and upset and rushing too much. If the kids needed something then I was getting grumpy for being disturbed.
I believe the puzzles are for fun, take the stress away, have a cuppa and just slow life down. It goes too fast anyway.
I admit to being slow - but happier.

Times? I used to do times and then I realized that When in type them in I sometimes reversed the numbers. I can't dial a number on the phone without running my fingers under the numbers as I put them in. My daughter says I run the mouse all over the page in order to stay in the right column.

Really enjoyed the concert. It attempted to rain, but water didn't make it to the ground. The smoke is still hanging in from the fires on the border. Next year will make 60 years of performing for BB King. For 82 years old, he still can sing & swing.

Time posting. I no longer post my time. It is not because I am slow, it is my mouse. It has days of being very slow. I do keep an eye on times this is how I know it is getting slower.

Kate - what do you mean you had the screw taken out!
I had a screw put into my ankle, the talus, to be exact, in May 1973. It is still there. It hurt so much going in and I've grown to love it so it will stay. Anyway I am a coward, ex-nurses usually are, and as the ankle works, with some limitation of movement so it will be.

I just looked out of my window and there on the street was an aeroplane. I live by a main road. This was quite a shock till I realised it was on the back of a low loader truck travelling about 30 miles an hour.
Thinking of Hitchcocks film Rear Window - maybe I could base a movie on the plane that passed my window..........

Hey Mo! I haven't had a screw in an ankle, but I did have wires holding my face together. I got them removed after about 3 years as they were soooooo uncomfortable! I was having another op on my face and asked them to take them out while they were there.

Our heatwave appears to be over. After a week of temperatures in the low to mid 30's today is overcast and we have already had a smattering of rain. Better for working but the next 2 weeks are when most towns/villages have their Fetes and, of course, Bastille Day on 14th
