I remember my first experience with golfing . . . with my dad . . . he was suppose to be babysitting me . . . I was about four at the time . . . as an after thought he tried to teach me . . . the golf club was bigger than me.

Happy Friday!
One of our friend's young daughter is trying to become a pro golfer, so I'm gaining a better understanding of what it takes. Keep your eye out for up-and-comer Michelle Chun!

Never went golfing again until my first trip back to Japan. The golf course went over a street. I could imagine the drivers seeing golf balls whizzing over them. I could also imagine to my horror, my hits would be way too short and just drop in on the drivers!!!

Shower doors went on yesterday...
That means they can start on the second bath next week! Yippee!
Today I got to sleep in - no workmen!

Everybody.

Shiela - I'm guessing that means the first bathroom is totally remodeled now. Have you bought new towels to complete the look? I'm hope the work on the second bath is uneventful and timely.

Thank you, Dottie!
Yes, we've already got new towels! Luckily there are 'white sales' going on right now! Designer suggested white towels... not sure how long they will stay that brilliantly white! We've got quite a lot of iron in our water! She suggested 'charcoal' towels for the guest bath. I think they will be a much better choice!

for Harry's PT, Sue!
The PT specialists can do wonders! They got my ankle fit for visiting Machu Picchu!

I bought brown bath towels to go with a new rug and shower curtain. They looked great in the bathroom. I was very pleased. I washed them before use and the dryer filter was totally filled with brown lint. So, I washed them again. Same thing. I just went ahead and used them. They shed all More...

Never ask someone for an opinion on an 'in progress' painting. Hubby was brutal last night. He said that my banana tree painting would have been better if I hadn't painted so many leaves. He said it made the bananas look so insignificant. Well, duh! ... it's a painting of the tree, not of a group of bananas! (Guess I'll have to do a painting of a bunch of bananas on a plate for him!)

I noticed a lot of white dryer fuzz... Didn't think to wash them again to see if it was never-ending!
Were they cotton or bamboo? Ours are cotton. Hopefully yours were bamboo!

In fact Mr P - who vacuums the bathroom - has banned them from use.

I was hoping they'd settle with more use, but after reading the above, maybe they won't and they'll be on their way to the charity shop.

Had a good clothes cleanout yesterday - followed the rule of ''if you haven't worn it for a yeaar out it goes'' Stayed tough even though it broke my heart to get rid of some of the clothes. Charity shop is getting several big bags. It is nice to have room in my closet!

I think they were cotton, Shiela. I am probably banned from donating to the animal shelter from now on. All those lint covered dogs and cats are, no doubt, pretty distinctive. I hope it doesn't put off any prospective adopters.

Might you have to tell, CP, of your long-ago Rochester visit? This might be a BOP if I stop making mistakes & needing to correct them......
