Okay, it's been awhile, but one of my puzzles follows. For anyone who hasn't tried these before, you either behead (remove the first letter) or curtail 9remove the last letter of either of your answers to get the second answer. Have fun.

Your Saturday/Sunday (or Sunday /Monday puzzle). Yes, two days to answer:

1. A necessary element of fastening a saddle on a horse –> a device for hurling clay pigeons into the air
2. An appointed place of a rendezvous or a secret meeting –> adjudicate or investigate an issue in a More...

In the today we have Silvergal, Judy, Kathy, Joyce, Canuk Greg, Dottie R, Captain J, and Aileen (3/4). A prize more related to the picture than the puzzle.

I copied and pasted Greg's puzzle but I'm going to have to go have a long talk with my coffee pot before I look at it.

I think I may have entered a time warp. The last two days my two youngest have actually been playing with each other for extended periods of time. I want to say nice things to them about it but I don't want to jinx it.

Thinking of Shosho today as she says goodbye to her Dad. I hope it comforts her to know that friends around the world are giving her a virtual ((HUG))

Spoiler alert Greg. So he upped his lead today. Hope he doesn't choke tomorrow. Do you think he is over that.
Actually, we are traveling in the trailer so don't get the coverage. Only the highlight show tonight.

Let's hope so Dave. He has won the US Open and the PGA Championship so hopefully he'll feather his cap with a British Open.

Lynne and I are taking Anne (Lynne's sister) over to the ocean (Mendocino) for a couple of days, so my connection will be hotel WiFi on my iPad. I'll try to check in at least once a day.

Not looking forward to leaving work this morning and going out into the freezing cold wind we have here in Sydney...it was snowing about a two hour drive from Sydney yesterday, suspect it may still be!!

But how nice it will be when you do get home Lizzy. I ran the a/c heat all day yesterday. Something we seldom do.

I'll be with you in apple blossom time.
I'll be with you to change your name to mine.

I grew up with a Stamen-Winesap cross in the backyard and I really miss it.

y'all! Overcast, potential of rain the next few days, cooler (low 80s rather than upper 90s), a little humid and buggy outside. I got the final part of the front lawn reseeded, so I can goof off the rest of the day

I'm currently waiting on water boil. Since a watched pot never boils, I might as well see if I can help get us to another page.

We have been having some perfect weather here lately. High 70's or low 80's, not to windy and just a little cloudy. I could deal with this year round.

Let me paint you a picture. Imagine 3 members of the male species find a hole near a house that they think an animal lives in. Of course they want to see who lives there and trap it. Logically they take a live trap set it outside the hole and plan to flush it out with first a watering can and then a house.

 |  |

Just in case the animal doesn't go the way they want, it makes sense that they would arm themselves. Little boy had a child size shovel, Elijah had a hoe and Free had a spear. I should have had a camera. I didn't so little girl and I decided to go swing and laugh from a distance.
