Neil has made an interesting comment about posts, but only asks about long posts. Are long posts not telephone poles? We could talk about post cards which we hope will go post haste from the Post Office, or maybe we should talk about post in the military sense, such as a good soldier never deserts More...

Re: Neil's comments on post size, all I have to say is this: "Never Use a Large Word When a Diminutive One Will Suffice."

It's not laziness that keeps me from looking up spelling words, I'm dislexis. My teachers could not understand that if I did not put my fingers under each word as I read it it didn't make any sense. How can you look up a word if you have know idea how its spelled.

I find it funny that the term 'sticky beak' is unknown in other lands.... something I grew up with and thought everybody knew.
