OH, ladies, age is not an issue. Trust me on this. Man and I waited 17 years for the girl. Having advanced in age parents does not seem to have hurt the girl. Though the first time that someone asked if she was my grandchild I busted out crying. That was not nice.

Judy, I owe it all to my general contractor - ROB! After the poor job the contractor who did our bathroom did, Rob decided he'd like to oversee the kitchen himself. We picked all the sub contractors ourselves this time around, & so far they're doing a great job for us.

Oh, oh ... so if something goes wrong, your general contractor has to live with the dissatisfied customer ... brave man!

I've never been accused of being my son's grandmother but I took my sister to the doctor when she was 7 and I was 17 and he thought I was her mother.
Another time Hubby and I were shouting the nieces (5 of them aged 5-16) to a meal at Maccas. The young upstart behind the counter said I was a good Mum (I was only in my mid 20's).
Gee, I must have started really young!

It's stopped raining this morning. The sun is actually out! We've had 270 mls (about 11 inches) of rain in the last 2 days. There has been flash flooding, cars stranded, schools closed etc.

Heard something this week about a 66 yr old woman going to have a baby. Can't imagine wanting to at that age.(and she wanted to bad enough to travel to get invitro fertilization.)
