Daddy made an observation today.

He said I look pregnant.

Duh! Hope so. Where has he been for the past 38 weeks? He is really going to be surprised next week.

Got good news at the pediatrician yesterday. My little guy is growing quite quickly. In his 3 short weeks of life, he is now 1 pound over his birth weight. The doc said they expect early babies to be a bit behind, but this guy is racing to catch up quickly!

Karen - Since my guess was June 20, you have only 15 (or is it 16?) hours to produce! Now get to work, girl!!!

I had chuckles for my breakfast --- love the black ones, then the reds, oragne, green and yellow is my least fav

everyone!!
It's a on this side of the planet!
Yesterday was the last day I have seen my students as third graders! Well now I have three more school years to go!

Karen, my first was 3 weeks early and my second was a day late.
Have you thought of going up and down stairs?
21/Jun/09 12:13 AM

Been doing that Shosho. Well, I did it once, but I need to go back up there.

Congratulations, on surviving another year.

Jane I think we guessed almost the same day. I guessed the 21st Sudokuland time, and you guessed the 20th our time.

My guess has just under 24 hours to go.

2:18 well, it's pretty fast for a brain that has been frazzled by last minute crisis, one after another yesterday. The principal would tell the teachers that there were problems with their report cards and to see me. Argh! Ever have a dozen panicked people all telling me it's got to be fixed NOW? They wouldn't yell because they know I would be reduced to tears.

Sorry to interupt the discussion girls. I don't get to play very often anymore so I had to jump at the chance for 22!

Hey, Jill for someone with a newborn and three active kids, you swooped in like a hawk!

My family is being WAY too quiet for that many people. I should check on them.

Got to go feed that darn cat, the one who left a hairball in the living room about 11 PM last night. The one who got my hubby to wake me in a panic about the cat choking. The one whose mess I ended up cleaning off the carpet!
21/Jun/09 12:24 AM
 |  |

Shosho, Sammi is hubby's cat till something messy happens whatever the hour...then it is always - but you are so much better at that sort of thing! - Do I take that as a compliment or his cop out?

hope you all have an amazing day/night wherever you are in this most wonderful world of ours.

He is not good with bodily fluids be they human or animal and heaven forbid that some of that red stuff be spilt!
I once had to stay overnight in hospital only Obs & Gyn - he dropped me at the door and waited for someone to return my clothes to him. The next day I had to phone to say I am More...

Mind you he is not alone, during my nursing career I came across far more men with phobias about hospitals or related items than any women. We are built of sterner stuff, I think.

Karen, hang in there, just remember the little Angel will make an appearance when we least expect it.
First sign of labour is when your "nesting", have you had a wave of "I need to clean, and do the (nasty word) housework."?
21/Jun/09 12:38 AM
 |  |

Hello Twin.... Packed yet?
21/Jun/09 12:42 AM
 |  |

Angie, I have had that nesting thing going on during the entire time. Darn it. Last night around 3, I was cleaning the bathroom, the bathroom I had just cleaned the day before.
Tomorrow, we are going out in public, to a busy location. Oh, that is something to look forward to.

everyone!
Okay, Karen. I am officially withdrawing from the 'baby birth date' event. I can not, in all good conscience, wish you to 'percolate' for 11 more days. That is just cruel and unusual punishment.
Take a run (well, a lumber) around the block.
Time's a-wastin'!!!
21/Jun/09 12:44 AM
 |  |

I think you should have your baby on mid-summers daynow you've waited this long.

Hiya "twinette", I'm packed, but I have a small problem. Flight to Greece allows me 30 kilo's in a suitcase, flight from Athens to Thessaloniki allows me 20kilo's, and return flight from Thessolaniki to Athens allows me only 15 kilos', flight from Athens back to Australia allows me 30 More...

Layers, Angie ... slap on the layers!
21/Jun/09 12:53 AM
 |  |

Angie.... buy whatever you want, and mail them to your home in OZ.
21/Jun/09 12:58 AM
 |  |

But Angie, look at it this way:
30 + 20 + 15 + 30 = 95 kilos altogether.
You can take the kitchen sink after all.
That's the way to add it up.
