Good morning all. The children moved my kitchen table into the living room yesterday. The contractor doesn't come until Tuesday. It is NOT convenient. Have to go to "Home Depot" and make sure of how much counter top I need, and how much I have to get.. First the puzzles.

all - what no picture of a border collie? Left the Ray Charles U-tube up for another day.

The new Avatar is an interesting animal. I remember seeing these guys sunbathing, laying on the chase lounges and tables around a pool. Who knows what they are?

Hint they are related to Elephant & Sea Cows.

Everybody!

Slept in late again this morning, and woke up to a bunch of "accidents" in the house, from one or more of the Old Timers. That'll teach me not to sleep late any more.

Now I need my brekky and pain pills, then off to the More...

Rayray; 21st July 2008

and they’re static and not inclined to walking.
They don’t make any sound;

the gray skies of early morning are lightening up but still an overcast morning. Feel ready to tackle the house -- I have been putting it off for quite a while, I guess, I finally feel like doing it for myself and not for someone else - enjoy your day, Mary

Hi all! I think I actually stumped you the other day with the riddle - had some daft answers but no-one worked out the answer! Ha!! At last!!
21/Jul/08 5:15 AM
 |  |

OK, to remind you, here's the riddle again:
Last night, Mr Reid and the kids were looking at a road sign and could see that Leeds was 13 miles away, Stoke was 13 miles away and Leek was 10 miles away. Unfortunately it was too dark to see how far it was to Manchester. But Bert worked out the answer - can you?
