everyone!
As Sarah mentioned yesterday, we had that ''big yellow thing in the sky'' for a day. Today we have yet more rain. Nothing torrential, no big wind, just steady rain. We are becoming very tropical. Everything is very, very green. More...

I heard a story on BBC World about unusual rain and flooding in Niger, in places that have not ever had that much rain and have never flooded before. The planet is not healthy.

We have hot, hot sunshine and a predicted high of mid 80s - lots of wind too... I suppose blowing in the cold front which will arrive tomorrow for the Vernal Equinox and a 30-degree drop in temps.

HELLO fall!

Good mAen, good people. I didn't do anything this morning but get up, make breakfast for Burl, add two things to a shopping list, let out the cats, feed the dog and move along a couple loads of laundry then I went back to bed. Just finally managed to get dressed and it is after noon.

I had More...

Joyce- we went from summery hot and clear to autumnal cool and wet overnight. All the swamp critters are singing. It's the start of the finale to the Summer Song. I'd really prefer to extend the summer season but people down under need their summer too.

Half an hour later and still no-one has posted on the site. Well I guess I'll have to click up some milestones while there is no competition.

Still two more posts to be able to claim a CP. Will it be the longest CP on record?
22/Sep/18 5:49 PM

22/Sep/18 5:51 PM

Wombat I'm about to have a Jim Beam and Coke so we'll sit in quiet contemplation whilst you drink your Asashi.

She who must be obeyed has just given me my Jim B. Whoa, its strong. did someone call Splice the Mainbrace?
22/Sep/18 6:14 PM
 |  |

Enjoy your Jim Beam and coke, for the sun is well over the mainbrace. We have quite a few nautical persons on this site so a tot of rum would be quite appropriate.
22/Sep/18 6:44 PM

The sun comes over the yardarm, Wombat. Then you can splice the mainbrace.

I loved my tot. Such a sad day when it was abolished.

I was onboard the Rhyl when the last tot was dished out. Being a senior rating we did not have to add water and did not need to be supervised for the drinking. We were considered trustworthy Needless to say the last issue was hidden away by the whole forward mess and drunk at More...
