Here's today's factoid:
The name of the CEO of ''Food For The Poor'', a charitable organization that gives over 95% of its proceeds to the poor, is Robin Mahfood.

15 for 15? One has to wonder if SOMEONE is an over-achieving kiss-up!! Just kidding, Batty! Good job! LOL!

No moonshine here, Greg. I don't drink much, but, when I do, it is a beer. A simple gal with simple tastes.

, y'all! Still w/out regular access to a computer at home. It's amazing how the other members of the household guard 'their' laptops. Haven't been able to grab any photos from my camera from our island getaway.

Kayo, love the daffynitions . I've got several books of 'Sniglets' - words which aren't in the dictionary but should be. We actually use some of them...

Flarpswitch - the electrical switch in the house which seemingly does nothing.
Glackett - the noisy ball inside cans of spray paint products.
Hudnut - the leftover piece of hardware on any 'some assembly required' item.

Well Kathy, your so humble with your win that next time I'll give you two cow pies. You can attach elastic cord to them and wear them as ear muffs this winter, or maybe place them in your pants as butt warmers!

We just can't pass by a 22 without mentioning Keith! Hi, Sleepyhead! Lonewoof got it today! Wonder if he realized it? HIs name reminds of a small book written by James Herriot - Only One Woof. A lovely story about a dog who never barked but once to cheer his sibling on in a competition.

Hey, Pickles could be his nickname. It was and still is the nickname we call my baby brother! My dad gave us all American names my mom could never pronounce correctly. So we all had nicknames that were a close approximation of our names. Brother Feren (named after my dad's college basketball player) was Fueran which become Pekochan which we siblings in turn made into Pickles!

Not meaning to be crude or rude, is there any hope for me when the quiz master makes an error on the answer sheet at #12?!?!?!?
23/Sep/14 4:01 AM

Yes, no excuse for the error. It should read 'scrap and crap' but doesn't. I occasionally screw up!
23/Sep/14 4:10 AM

With that much typing I would be screwing up more than once, Greg! It's an amazing amount of effort you put into those puzzles!

Hi Silvergal, I play, at various times depending on what's required, clarinet, alto sax and tenor sax in a couple of big bands. No particular genre - we play everything from marches to movie themes to rock and swing.
