 Hi everyone. 26/Jan/14 12:00 AM |  |
A Thought For The Day: I may be schizophrenic but at least I have each other. 26/Jan/14 12:01 AM |  |
 Did I break it? Where is everyone? 26/Jan/14 12:01 AM |  |
Ah, hi Doug! Happy Australia Day! 26/Jan/14 12:02 AM |  |
 That's two thoughts. 26/Jan/14 12:02 AM |  |
I thought that it was 'Invasion Day', but I'm in two minds about that. 26/Jan/14 12:05 AM |  |
I think DorA has my problem too. Just a hunch. 26/Jan/14 12:07 AM |  |
 Never mind. 26/Jan/14 12:07 AM |  |
Good morning to all! Happy Australia Day to all Aussies where ever they are today! 26/Jan/14 12:08 AM |  |
 Share and share alike. 26/Jan/14 12:09 AM |  |
Ready for your Saturday/Sunday puzzle? Here it is: 1. You can get a small one of a grand one playing bridge –> an airline carrier in Mozambique2. An American actress who won an academy award for As Good As It Gets –> a disparaging word for a German soldier in World War 13. More... 26/Jan/14 12:10 AM |  |
Neil - It is Invasion Day too. The English cricket team is playing on Adelaide oval. Getting walloped again I might add. 26/Jan/14 12:11 AM |  |
Is that were wallobies come from - Adelaide? 26/Jan/14 12:16 AM |  |
all. And happy Aussie Day. 26/Jan/14 12:16 AM |  |
Neil - Sorry mate, the Wallabies play Rugby, not cricket. The Wallabies come from NSW & QLD. Those are the Rugby states, The rest of us play Aussie Rules Football instead. 26/Jan/14 12:20 AM |  |
So, Aussies play cricket on an Oval, and play rugby with an Oval-shaped ball. Where is the logic in that? 26/Jan/14 12:25 AM |  |
Word of the day: Stoat n. Chiefly British The ermine, esp. when in its brown color phase. Answers to yesterday’s disemboweler: 1. Pleat (or plait), plat, pat2. Scald, scad, sad3. Beach, Bach, bah4. Stoat, stat, sat5. Pierce, piece, pice, pie As for #1, the More... 26/Jan/14 12:27 AM |  |
That's no worse than trying to kick a round ball into a rectangular net is it? 26/Jan/14 12:29 AM |  |
 Just right. 26/Jan/14 1:00 AM |  |
 One more. 26/Jan/14 1:00 AM |  |

The sign today has to be Hell, Michigan. 26/Jan/14 1:07 AM |  |
 Cricket field (I guess it looks oval) on today's Kids 4x4 Hard. 26/Jan/14 1:13 AM |  |
I live not far from Hell, Michigan. I can verify Hell is frozen over. 26/Jan/14 1:14 AM |  |
 Nice icicles. 26/Jan/14 1:18 AM |  |
Good Maen, good people. Yes, my fair state has a Hell, a Paradise and a Purgatory. Oh, and there's also a Nirvana and a Valhalla Park. Ask me and I can tell you how to get to any of those places. 26/Jan/14 1:29 AM |  |
 But I've never been to Death Valley. 26/Jan/14 1:29 AM |  |
If I can help it, I'm not even setting foot outside the house today. Not even to put out more bird food. I did that last night. 26/Jan/14 1:30 AM |  |
I only dozed last night, getting up every hour or two to keep the woodstoves stoked. We'll probably put in a cartoon after lunch and I'll nap while the girls watch and stoke the stoves. 26/Jan/14 1:32 AM |  |
I keep thinking of Laura Ingalls' 'Long Winter' and hope that, now that January is about over, things will moderate. I really don't want to have a Plum's 'Long Winter.' 26/Jan/14 1:34 AM |  |
Thanks a lot Greg! You're probably the only one who noticed. Except maybe Mr Fee. 26/Jan/14 2:33 AM |  |
 Doesn't need a comment, it clearly has frozen over! 26/Jan/14 2:37 AM |  |
I think Greg is right. It's probably Hell, Michigan. And Erin is correct... Hell is frozen over today! It's a destination place for motorcycle clubs. There is a 'Run Through Hell' in the summer and some years the runners would probably say it was 'Hotter than Hades'! 26/Jan/14 3:02 AM |  |
Speaking of frozen... My swan avatar photo was taken on a winter pond in Michigan that was mostly frozen over. That's probably a factor in why the background ended up black behind my swan. 26/Jan/14 3:06 AM |  |
 everyone!!! 26/Jan/14 3:10 AM |  |
Well if Hell froze over, then something drastic must have happened! A cricket game gone wrong (wrong side winning) or whatever~ 26/Jan/14 3:11 AM |  |
 so close . . . 26/Jan/14 3:12 AM |  |
 getting there . . . 26/Jan/14 3:12 AM |  |
