Appy: You are right abut the recent quakes today. There was an r6.6 off the Andaman Islands and others near Nias Island off the West Sumatran coast. That is the same stretch of tectonic boundary that was affected with the great Sumatran tsunami quake. Personally I don't think there will be another tsumani like before.

I guess I sent the wrong message this morning. I am about an hour drive north of the southern fire, and about an hour and a half south of the northern fire. Caught in the middle for smoke, but not in danger of burning. (except maybe in h*ll).

Dorthea - a friend of mine came home from Sacramento the other day, said the smoke was bad all the way North to the border. We have fires in Happy Camp (California side of the Siskiyous) - known for the cartel's marijuana farms. So far the smoke has not reached us & we still have beautiful blue skies.

pretty dog, I'm baking some brownies tonight - going to visit my son this weekend - he will be 21 on sunday -- may now time flies -- I just gave birth to him -- I's so looking forward to our visit -- going to grill out between the rain drops -- I hope everything goes well - It's so stressful to get my husband and younger son moving --- starting my slow breathing now -- enjoy your day.
