Good morning all! Rainy and cold and then turning to snow through tomorrow. Mountains north of me expecting 8 to 12 inches! Hope everyone has a great day! 29/Oct/08 12:02 AM |  |

 old railway tunnel? 29/Oct/08 12:05 AM |  |
2:16 Maen! Looks like an old railway tunnel, but no tracks any more... 29/Oct/08 12:10 AM |  |

The tunnel intrigued me so I googled it. It is now a part of a bike and hike system near State College,PA and it was originally a railroad. We have something similar near me. The towpath for the Ohio and Erie Cannal has been turned into a bike and hike trail. It runs through the Cuyahoga More... 29/Oct/08 12:27 AM |  |
 to everyone! 29/Oct/08 12:27 AM |  |
Good Maen all! Very cool tunnel...love the old stone work. We're still in the upper 70's here, could use you guys sending some of that rain our way as we have had a very dry year. 29/Oct/08 12:29 AM |  |
Many of the old rairoad tunnels have been blocked off, the owners worried about falling rock and the tunnel being a place for unseemly goings-on. Behind the Museum of Transportation in St. Louis County, Missouri, the old tunnel is fenced closed. 29/Oct/08 12:30 AM |  |
Thanks for the info, Jill - was curious myself...but too lazy to search this is me being lazy and wanting to be sure Jim isn't disappointed with no critters or kiddies today! 29/Oct/08 12:31 AM |  |
What a freaky World Series game last night! Can't believe they were playing in that storm and I'm very glad the game was suspended...more baseball - hoorah! 29/Oct/08 12:32 AM |  |
Vici, I would be happy to trade some of the rain for a little bit of warm weather. I caution you that lately that some of the raindrops are turning a bit white!! I'll take the warmth on Friday for my little trick or treaters, if you please. 29/Oct/08 12:34 AM |  |
Great pumpkin carving Vici. I just put my carvings up on my page. Actually I am surprised that the race didn't blow by me while I was putzing around on flickr. 29/Oct/08 12:43 AM |  |
 Aah some contenders! 29/Oct/08 12:44 AM |  |
 29/Oct/08 12:45 AM |  |
It's kind of funny. The children claim the pumpkins for their own; however, they have very little involvment. They pick the design and then go off and play while Jack and I spend hours working on the pumpkins. At least the oldest helped scoop out pumpkin guts this year! 29/Oct/08 12:45 AM |  |
 Very rusty. Can I win? vroooom vroooom 29/Oct/08 12:45 AM |  |
Great looking tunnel. Jill, my son ran a marathon on that path. 29/Oct/08 12:45 AM |  |

Oops! Got here too late. Congrats, Lee! 29/Oct/08 12:47 AM |  |
OK, that's not fair. We spent 10 minutes on post 16 while I was working on flickr frantically flipping back and forth to check the number of posts. Then we spend less that 10 seconds a post on #17 - 24. Go figure! 29/Oct/08 12:47 AM |  |
 For you Lee 29/Oct/08 12:48 AM |  |
Alright! A new contender steps in and wins!!! Congratulations, Lee!Susan - I do love your 22 "quilt?" - at least that's what it reminds me of. 29/Oct/08 12:48 AM |  |

Oops, think that was because of me Jill. We'll meet to race another day! 29/Oct/08 12:50 AM |  |
