After Thing I's very thoughtful Thank You, she informed me later that she would rather have her toys in here (living room), than in the toy room.

Oh, Judy, I wondered who pushed me over the top.
Thanks.
I can just see carrots go flying across the room as those darn dust bunnies try to get out.

Did anyone do any frugal-ing, today?
I am not frugal, just cheap.

I was very frugal, I did not help solve our nation's debt problem by spending more money

Gerry and Viv, thanks for the education, that sounds amazingly complex. Gerry, did not realize you were a 'newcomer'. Welcome to our strange conversations...

What stramge conversations, Shannon?
We have highly intelligent exchanges around here.

shosho, okay besides the weather and family (albeit huge factors) what is the attraction? (I'm genuinely asking, not being a smart a**)Totally agree, every place has it's problems and we're all tied to where we're from ( but I don't think that means you'd be unhappy elsewhere). You can take the More...

Now I'm all for 'diversity' and don't want to live in a cookie cutter society, don't get me wrong. It's hard in writing, when we don't know each other, to accurately express what I mean. And I'm not just talking about influx from other countries, but when we've created an entire class of More...

I didn't think Texans were ever allowed to even think of living anywhere else It's funny, when we first moved here people were telling us to get our license plates changed immediately if we had come from CA or TX. There was a huge influx of both late 90's/early 00's. And Colordans hated More...

Oh and Judy, things right in CA? I thought things were only allowed to be Left . I'm waiting for that perfect place to live that's straight down the middle, lol!

Hehehe. There is no other place to live, Shannon. That is why we visit then come back home.

Though, if for some strange reason, I ever got a wild hair and wanted to move away, for some reason, I have said my destination would be Montana. Have no idea why.

OH, what a thought. What if everyone was like me. We would have so much fun. Plenty of laughter all the time.

Man would need to build a bbq contraption big enough for rack of bison, pictures of Fred Flinstone and Barney Rubble running through my mind...it truly is Big Sky Country up there but man, it's remote. Lots of typos tonight, sorry all.

GmaJackie, gave me some great advice today. Thank you GmaJackie. It does feel good walking into those rooms that were cleaned out today.
I don't think I am a dirty person, but 3 bags of trash on the front porch, with only 5 rooms cleaned out, tells a different story.
03/Oct/10 4:02 PM

We need no more of those contraptions.
Wonder what bison tastes like? To me it sounds really tough.

One person's trash.....
We were helping some friends get ready for a move today. We're all people who moved regularly before falling into our black hole here. It's amazing how much stuff piles up. I drive honey crazy when I declare "let's pretend we're moving day". He still has stuff from two jobs ago that he insists he needs but I haven't seen those boxes touched in 5 years.

I should throw a sudoku buffalo dinner. It's really tender when cooked right and really good, so is elk.

10+ years ago, we moved from Belton to Houston, went from a 4 bedroom house, into a 2 bedroom apartment, with a room mate--not my choice--if it was not sold, stuff was packed up and not unpacked. Moved back, then out here, where we were going to build, but instead moved this house. Still have not unpacked those boxes. I think after 10+ years, I may not need whatever is in those boxes any longer.

Why do you think I read about food? That way I do not have to prepare it.
03/Oct/10 4:17 PM

Yep, every once in awhile I come across something that still has the United Van Lines moving sticker on it and that was '96.

I really dread packing up this house, when we move. What comes to mind is to buy a match, instead.

I worry about my home cleanliness. On my last "0" birthday, the neighbors got in and left these little notes attached to various things in my house. They were cute, referencing the item to some smart aleck crack about my age. But the one couple insists I still haven't found all of them, More...

I want some candy. Why do I not have any candy? Actually, I want an almond joy or reece's peanut butter cup.
I threw out an Easter basket full of candy earlier. I am going to pay for that one.

My mother always says her next move will be carrying her dead body out the door. It will be her ultimate revenge to leave me with cleaning out the house. Thinking about doing my Plan B tomorrow, with the exception of a birthday party. Which that darn mother scheduled it during nap time. That cake better be good and not one of those store bought, frozed and defrosted things.

My father died nearly 4 years ago, we are still cleaning up after him. I think it took us 6 months to clean out his trailer.

There is a school rule, not send candy as snacks. The news talks about childhood obesity. Oh, the school rule does not apply to holiday parties. There are so many factors. I just would prefer the girls have candy in moderation. What happened last year, was not moderation.

Oh, yeah. I like the one where McD's is getting sued because someone kid is fat. Who took the child to McD's in the first place?
