Ian, with regards to your comment earlier on in 'my' today:

"In vein? Exactly what am I doing with this melted Stilton?"

Don't ask me you are the man with the weather vane. You always seem to be pointing in the right direction though, unlike the weather here, it is a bit overcast, but quite warm.

Angie, I read you have got thru your first year not smoking, congratulations!
When I read your statement, "I still miss it every single day," it hit home to me.
After I quit (after 15 years of a pack a day), my dad, who had quit years earlier, told me: "Oh, the constant craving More...

Two Musicians in a major symphonic orchestra were discussing who they thought the LEAST talented musician in the band was. One of them said, "That’s easy. See that guy standing in the back? Well, we just put two sticks in his hands, and we call him a Drummer."
The other responded, "Well, if we take one stick away, we call him a Conductor!"

RayRay - love your new logo! It looks like you may have borrowed the Ray letters from the Tampa Bay Rays baseball team?
And speaking of baseball, sorry to the Phillies fans. Those "Dam* Yankees" are giving your guys a tough time.

Lots of attempts at the puzzle yesterday, but only 2 correct answers. Congrats to Greg and Judy! BTW, these two informed me it was NOT a math puzzle, but a logic puzzle. Great minds and all that rot....

Beautiful day here, cooler than yesterday but still nice. Hubby is out "mowing" the yard again the fourth time in three days, and he calls me crazy.

I have been picking up fallen fig leaves today They were blown all over the place by yesterday's gale. Some of them threaten to stifle the fish in the pond. I didn't realise they were so big - little wonder that Adam & Eve used them to good effect.
