Just a little hello to everybody after a difficult week : father in hospital for a blood transfusion, son in distress because DIL's in hospital for a little operation (I'm going there tomorrow by the first train) and daughter lost a job she was hoping for! I knew better times and was hardly comforted by the good results of our little Frenchies in the French Open. See you later.

Eve - Just saw your note regarding the cookbook. When you reconstruct your book, burn it to a CD. I made several CD copies of my personal cookbook last year and gave them to my nieces for Christmas. It was fun designing and printing the CD labels and jewel case covers, too.

I hate to say this, but if you are figuring percentages, you divide the number possible into the number correct and then move the decimal two places to the right. If there are thirty questions and you got thirty right, that would be thirty divided by thirty. The answer is one. Move the decimal More...

Ah, but you forgot Eves strange little formula of multiplying by 3 and dividing by your age. They don't teach THAT in school.

Evening all, just reporting in to say I am home safely after a wonderful day at Gail's. It was lovely meeting Broni and catching up with the other Melbourne sudokuists and their families. The weather was perfect, so too was the food and company.
Just waiting to hear that Liz has arrived home safely and didn't go via NSW!
