It's getting very annoying having great pictures but you can't do the jigsaw because the pieces don't fit! 31/May/13 12:38 AM |  |
Good Maen, good people. Sunshine today. It's very welcome, thank you. 31/May/13 12:41 AM |  |
Good morning people of the world. 31/May/13 12:47 AM |  |
Good morning all. Bev, I'm with you on the jigsaw problem. It isn't that way on the medium and hard puzzles - so I'm not sure what the problem is with easy! 31/May/13 12:47 AM |  |
For Christmas my middle daughter Faun made 'gift certificates' for one baked good per month to be delivered to her grandparents and to her dad (Burl). Today we have an appointment near the grandparents, so it's May's Delivery Day. Faun is therefore baking cinnamon rolls on their More... 31/May/13 12:47 AM |  |

everyone! I agree, Bev. I wonder why the jigsaw problem hasn't been addressed? I would have loved to do this one. I have a weakness for black cats. My beloved Sam 31/May/13 12:51 AM |  |
Little Plum is wearing her 'new favorite T-shirt.' It is UofM colors and at first glance looks like a team booster T-shirt. It says MICHIGAN across the top with a big picture of the mitten-shaped lower peninsula in the middle of the chest. Then underneath it has the words: Talk To The Hand. 31/May/13 12:51 AM |  |
Oh, Serena, sick quiet is not a good sound. Hope she feels better soon. 31/May/13 12:51 AM |  |
Mint Julep? That reminds me that my first harvest of mint is up and ready to pick. But it will go into mint iced tea. I should keep my wits about me. 31/May/13 12:53 AM |  |
 Good Maen, all! 31/May/13 12:56 AM |  |
I love fresh mint, Plum. One of my favorite veggies is boiled new potatoes with chopped mint, chopped garlic and a shake of coarse sea salt tossed with olive oil. This is generally served at room temp, so it can be made ahead of time. It is yummy! 31/May/13 12:58 AM |  |
Isn't it funny how moms can ignore the sound of kids running around making noise, but as soon as there is silence, you just know there is something not right? Some kind of radar comes into play. I believe that is universal. 31/May/13 12:58 AM |  |
If those cat eyes were pickle green that would look like my first kitty pet. With these eyes it looks a lot like my second kitty pet who would chase black squirrels on the shed and garage rooftops and sheds. She was so furry and had such a lush tail that it was difficult to tell her from the squirrels! 31/May/13 12:59 AM |  |

 Hello, Keith! 31/May/13 1:02 AM |  |
Plum, I picked fresh mint for Mint Julips on Kentucky Derby Day (May 4th)... It's a good thing I had lots of plants, because I think I had to almost strip the crop clean to get enough mint! 31/May/13 1:06 AM |  |
The answer to yesterday's poozle: A, RA, ARM, MARL, MALAR, ALARMS, MARSHAL, MARSHALL A perfect score for winners, Plum, HalT, June, Quahog, Peter, Serena, and Dottie R! 31/May/13 1:08 AM |  |
What kind of mint do you add to the potatoes, Jane? I grow apple mint - a mild spearmint flavor for lamb and iced tea - and chocolate peppermint - which I mostly give away as live plants planted in mugs found at tag sales. I've eaten mint in tabouleh (to which I also like to add chopped broccoli and tomatoes), but never with potato salad. 31/May/13 1:08 AM |  |
Shiela - it's good to pick mint early leaving only a set or two of leaves on a few inches of stem. It grows back two stems where there was one before so it's that much bushier for the rest of the growing season! 31/May/13 1:10 AM |  |
 I use either peppermint or spearmint, Plum. 31/May/13 1:18 AM |  |
I will try it with the apple mint, Jane. Thanks. You ARE the 'Recipe Woman.' 31/May/13 1:21 AM |  |
My easy, morning routine was shattered this morning, when my alarm went off and I turned over and discovered a man in my bed. Talk about being shocked awake. I do not wake-up to a man in my bed on weekday mornings.Morning routine, was not on schedule, at all, this morning. He woke the girl up, More... 31/May/13 1:22 AM |  |
The thing with noisy kids is that you have a general idea of what the are doing without being in the room. When they are quiet, anything goes. 31/May/13 1:24 AM |  |

Peace was short lived. I drive my darling to school every morning, it is a 17 minute drive, 5 minutes to walk around the building and deliver my girl, and back in the car between 8:03-8:05. Stop and get my morning beverage, back home, by 8:27. Man returned home at 8:08. He did not stop for my More... 31/May/13 1:26 AM |  |
OH, quiet children worry me. Children should not be quiet. Like you said, it lets me know what they are doing. 31/May/13 1:27 AM |  |
Unfortunate, for Man, I was on the phone when he came in. Unfortunate for me, I was on the phone for an hour and fifteen minutes. Fortunatly, we are now set up for cable and Internet, should be, let me repeat, should be, up and running Monday morning. 31/May/13 1:30 AM |  |

Oh, Kathy, Kathy, Kathy. The banging around was him packing. The interruption in the relief room, was him taking out the washer and dryer. I should say, he was doing this before the button on the coffee machine was pushed to on. Also, just mere minutes, after silencing that rude alarm. This More... 31/May/13 1:34 AM |  |
