Rayray - your poem was wonderful. I hope GannieMo is still awake and has seen it - as I read it, I envisioned the life (and "chateau") that she and Steve are creating bit by bit.

I am exhausted! I spent the better part of the day pulling grass (by hand) from an area in our side yard for a garden. I didn't expect we'd finish today, but we did - and it looks great! Now if my black thumb doesn't kill everything we've planted, I'll be a happy camper! (Never did make it to the beach though).

Here you go, Jane. Believe you're going to need it!

Had a great time at Broni's yesterday. Thankyou so much Broni, the party was great, & I loved catching up with everyone. (I'll keep the memory of the chooks on pedistals forever! p.s. how is the fungus going?)

Just had a brain explosion. It has not really registered that it is now May. That means schools are going to let out soon. Which means Jamie's, from AggieLand, is going to retire soon. Wonder how is doing?

At Broni's yesterday we had three (count 'em, three) extremely decadent, calorie-filled, waistline expanding super-rich but yummy desserts -

Thanks from all of us Yanks to our Aussie sisters and brothers for taking such good care of Keith and Lynne. You have given them the trip of a lifetime, and all of us here have vicariously experienced the same love and caring from you. You are special people, and we thank you from the bottoms of our hearts.

This is Keith and Lynne's last day in Australia and we bid them farewell. Anne and I hope you have enjoyed your time in the Great South Land and that you take away many happy memories. You have been gentle, happy ambassadors for your wonderful country and I feel enriched for having met you both. Till we meet again. Bon Voyage.

Jane got married 6 months before I got here and Shiela got married 5 months after I got here. They really have not been married that long.

I'm in Sydney waiting for Keith and Lynne to arrive shortly, so I can both meet them and farewell them.
Since we have been to many of the same places in the last few weeks - but not at the same time - (and they followed me to Hawaii last September), I decided to put an end to this constant missing each other by THAT much, and get to Sydney to at last meet up!

CynB, I think Grasshopper bought the yummy tiramisu and I think Broni will find a little surprise in her firdge this morning. Thanks Broni yet again for a wonderful day and thanks to all the sudokuist and their spouses for making it such a fun day. Special thank you to Broni's "helpers". More...

Good Afternoon all, K why didn't you remind me yesterday!!!!!!!!!!!! I have just found that beatiful fruit flan in my fridge all for me and the boarder! Hehe! What a surprise.
