Had to take son to work in it.

We are dining out tonite so i had better go. get out of my crocs and trackie dacks.

Now seeing as son is at work until 9.30pm tonight, i hope to be able to spend some time on this site.
Have dinner cooking, waiting on hubby.
Drinks night at work for him.
Well every night appears to be but on Thursday is a bit longer and on Friday night it is longest. !!!!

Evening all. It's been a tense day for me. I was "conscripted/volunteered" to present a talk about my work at a seminar this afternoon. I was very nervous, especially as I was first speaker. But I'm happy to report that I survived and got lots of very positive feedback - and 2 requests to present the same talk again at other hospitals.

I read Mamacita's sad news before I left to do the talk, and had to force it out of my head until all that was over. But now I'm home and can let myself feel the pain - and I'm very sad.

Yes we are all very sad, it was so unexpected.

I am very pleased that the talk went well for you CP and that you got such positive feedback. I hate public speaking.
Also, very well done for getting through it after reading the news, knowing how it has hit us all, that makes the job you did even more amazing.

A very sad day all round, today I attended the funeral of a friend that died suddenly last Sat then to find that Mamacita's Sully had passed as well. Rest in Peace Sully and my friend Elaine.

Mamacita, like many others, I've left a message for you on your page. I'm sure I speak for all of us, your Sudoku family, when I say that we are deeply honoured that in your time of intense grief, with so many other things to attend to, that you thought to share your sad news with us. You are indeed a remarkable lady.

Sudden or accidental death of a loved one is absolutely the worst thing to have to have to come to terms with.

CP I know you did a great job on your talk. But to know about Sully at the same time must have been a struggle for you since it comes so close to your own tragedy. We all feel the pain for Mamacita who is very dear to us. A cyberhug for you.
