Thank all that contributed to yesterdays health care ''discussion''. The best way to learn about any subject, is the exchange of ideas.

Sometimes this exchange must be ''kick-started'' with a controversial comment.

When I questioned the faultiness of a system where a bill is generated before all the payments are credited, I More...

I do see the difficulty with today's picture. The stem looks embroidered. I can't see individual threads or yarn on any other part of the picture. Most of the colors are dark enough to not be able to tell what color they are.

Quite the game last night. I thought it would be a blow-out after the kick-off return of 108 yards, but the 49ers made a game of it. Smart finish by the Ravens with giving up that safety. Kudos to both teams!

I am presently struggling through a 640 page owner's manual with the 27 page quick reference book along side it. Then I get to go through a 359 page display audio system book afterwards!

That's perfectly all right, Amelia. I'm not into maths, either. I look up the solution (not just the answers) to the math poozles in case I am questioned. I copy and paste it into a document just in case. ''Be prepared'' is not just a scouting slogan!

Shiela, it was the first thing that came into my head when I saw the puzzle yesterday - but thought it couldn't be right so I did the rest then checked the dictionary & thesaurus - not in either. So I was going to post it without that one. Any I though what the heck - I'll just get a ribbing from MR Cee & everyone'll get a laugh, so off it went to him with all the others!!!

Thanks for that link Colo Jim. When the bear first appeared, it really did look ''genuine''.It was so lifelike in the way it walked. It was not until it started to ''undress'' that it became clear.
