That's ok, my son and his girlfriend were going to come over yesterday to celebrate Mother's Day...till I reminded them it was NEXT Sunday! Shouldn't have told them, might have got two bunches of flowers!

Bean, noone in this house has a forgotten birthday! I am the worst at remembering so I have always made it my policy to remind everyone of everything! Especially anniversaries! Of course that means I have to have everything written on a calendar in big letters so I don't forget either... I decided to never feel sad because someone forgot!

Rose, they also say it is more likely to degenerate/become faulty because it doesn't have a partner (like the XX for women) to help fix problems. Could we theorise that it already has???

Gail - my friend's husband had a special dinner booked, flowers ordered, everything organised for a wonderful mother's day yesterday. My friend saw the note he had written for himself and asked him if he realised he was a week off...

Just about to go to work, and visit Mum beforehand. As I understand it, she didn't have surgery today, and they still hadn't done the echocardiogram at lunchtime!!!

No time to catch up on posts now, will do so after I get to work.

Eve - Regarding Eight Belles - The term "8 bells" is a nautical term meaning change of watch; it is also a term sometimes used in an obituary - change or end of a life. It is ironic that anyone would name a horse 8 Bells with that traditional meaning.
