Eve ... yes I am. We left there on June 1 and just in time. The next week it started hitting over 100 and the nights started moving up as well, which for me is a problem. I can deal with the heat if it cools at night. It is 85 at sunrise in Yuma.Sure have seen a lot of fawns out on the road this year. 05/Aug/11 12:29 AM |  |
Eve, rereading that begs the question ... why talk about fawns with the weather?Yesterday, you mentioned the fawns in the yard. Out 1 year old Yorkie had a close encounter with one a couple days ago. Actually, the encounter was with Mom, and that is much more dangerous. 05/Aug/11 12:34 AM |  |
everyone! I see our Canadian traveler is complaining about the prizes. She needs to remember that something is better than nothing. Answers to yesterday' puzzle: 1. toadstool 2. frog march, goose step, march of the More... 05/Aug/11 12:36 AM |  |
This cat looks like my late Bruiser. So pretty. 05/Aug/11 12:41 AM |  |
And for today.... In this teaser you are to try and discover the quotation concealed in the lines. The quote has been broken up into two-letter fragments. Furthermore, I have removed any punctuation and jumbled the two-letter fragments about so the word order has been disarranged. You have More... 05/Aug/11 12:42 AM |  |

We see deer, including a couple of fawns, in our yard every day. We have our gardens surrounded by deer fencing. When my daughter was about 3 years old, she was attacked by a deer. People do not realize how dangerous they can be. 05/Aug/11 1:24 AM |  |
 Can I get lucky? 05/Aug/11 1:25 AM |  |
