Yesterday I was buying a large bag of Purina dog chow at Wal-Mart for Athena the wonder dog and was about to check out. A woman behind me asked if I had a dog.

We had a huge storm go through yesterday. My husband referred to it as "horizontal rain"! Quite a bit of hail bouncing off the deck. It wasn't big enough to dent the cars, thank goodness. What a blow!!

Regarding colour-blindness. When I was a schoolboy, one of my heros; a friend of the family; was colour-blind. He was a professional photographer who produced the most stunning monochrome (b&w) pictures I have ever seen. He never took colour p[ictures because of his 'handicap'. More...

Fiona my son is colour blind and the only troubles he has had were 1. cannot be a pilot and 2. I once made the mistake of playing golf with him and used an orange ball as a provisional. Asked him to pick it up when my original was found, he just could not see the ball in the grass when he was standing next to it.
Apparently the green/orange combination is the most common.
