Election Day today!
(And... No more phone calls!)

The sad truth about those phone calls... I doubt that any of those phone calls influenced votes one way or another. Except maybe by deciding to vote against the candidate who called with the most negative calls against their opponent.

Shiela, I don't recall any spider factoids, but here's one for you anyway: Spiders with hair on them are mammals, and thus produce delicious (and unusually cold) milk. Spiders produce milk using the same glands that they produce silk threads with.

Spider milk?! How much would a gallon of THAT cost?

The official answer to yesterday’s puzzle is ‘Go around me’ or ‘Goes around me’. Congratulations to Captain J, Pam, and Dottie R for figuring it out. A slow moving vehicle sign is on the way. I’m feeling generous on this Election Day, no I’m not running for office, so I’ll be sending prizes out More...

Just got back from voting. We decided to wait until Election Day rather than stand in the long lines for early voting or wonder if our absentee ballots would be received & tallied correctly. When we got to our polling place there was only one person ahead of us!! More...

I thought I had messed up. A cleanable mess up, but a pain in the tush. When our voter's registeration cards come in the mail, I put them in a drawer, where I can find them. See them everyday, but only touch them once a year, if that much. I am sure I look at them, when I take them out of the More...

As were are making the long trek to the voting place, I informed Thing II, that she had to be quiet and not run around like a wild child. She promised me she would not be a wild child. And she kept her promise. Wish someone, would have told the very drunk lady in there, that was having a gay old More...

OH, I am very thankful, I was not bombarded with a bunch of political mail and phone calls. The biggest political opinions I got from others, was on FB, and there was only about 3. So, I think I lucked out this election. Because of the TV channels I choose to watch, I really did not have to worry about those either.

Now, if anyone would like to have a political discussion, I will be happy to give my opinion about the canidates, in the forum.
Well, in a bit, I have a child that says she is starving.
