Tricia/Alabama, Welcome to this site. I think yoou'll enjoy it.

Damn spell-checker again you, you, you.
 |  |

Tricia. Ian is right, we have a lot fun here, great people.
 |  |
 |  |
Ian - you're up early

Night shift's done and I'm going home - see y'all later.
 |  |

3:14 is very slow for me.
Have a great day everyone. Susan and Baz - hope you are keeping your feet dry.

One more dark closet jape.
The lady of the house's husband came home early from work one day. Suspecting that something was up, he immedieatly went to her bedroom closet and flung open the door. There crouched a strange man with nothing on but a guilty smile. The angry husband yelled 'What are you doing in my wife's closet?'. The man replied, 'Everybody has to be someplace.'

Tricia, stay tuned in and get acquainted with everybody. It's a wonderful bunch of folks who can always brighten your day with good humor.
 |  |
Don't necessarily judge by today, though.
 |  |
Tricia: Observer is correct in that. I have it on good authority from the clerk at Harvey's Used Furniture and Live Bait Emporium that Observer's standard of good humor is predicated on the frequency of stops made by the man in the white truck with the obnoxious bell who dispenses poorly blended ice cream.
 |  |

Jeb, you are in fine form today
 |  |

GiGi is cute
Lots of smiles today, very funny folks
welcome Tricia

Hi everyone,Gigi is a cutie pie,
 |  |
Good mAen,
Love Gigi in black and white. Well the snow is just on the ground - was light in wtg but boy did it mess up the roads here in Chicago.
 |  |
Glinda - Gath is not as clever as most people think - for instance, there is no spell checker in the comments box, added to that he tells me he cannot install a voice option in the chatroom. However, he is a very nice man with a nice voice and quite clever.
So glad you enjoyed your egg meusli More...
 |  |
wow wow Gigi!

Hi Maggie (Ohio): The Robins came here (Vancouver island canada)two weeks ago. Ithought it was a bit early. But maybe they know something.
 |  |
Glinda - you didn't say whether you had milk with it?
 |  |
No, I forgot the milk.... just a moment, I'll go get it...

Just received this email from a friend. I've deleted his name so you can read it!

When I was married 25 years, I took a look at my wife one day and said, 'Honey, 25 years ago we had a cheap apartment, a cheap car, slept on a sofa bed and watched a 10-inch black and white TV, but I got to More...
 |  |
Billy, you wrote 'e.g. meusli' in your first post to me today. It is so nice of you to think of me, but I must say I had never heard of egg meusli, although it was just fine. Strange, but just fine. I always appreciate your helpful suggestions.
 |  |
Good mAen every one. Chalkboard - very funny
islandbee - where on the island, I grew up in Port Alberni
 |  |

Chalkboard - Amen to that!
 |  |
Glinda - I addressed the 'e.g. meusli issue 3 comments before my last comment.
Again, I am always glad that I can be of help. As I said to Anne/Albany, yoghurt can cause mucous, that goes for all dairy products. Soy and rice milk are sort of good alternatives, but not ideal.
 |  |
I'm suprised to here the robins are in Canada. Just last saturday we saw 2 dozen robins and it was +-zero degrees F. I thought they were going to freeze their little feathers off when it's this cold.
 |  |
D.C / Humpydoo - my apologies for calling you a richard head (full version), it was inexcusable. It was suggested that you may have indeed fought with Che. A speech therapist may also be of help to you.

I dont like muesli. reminds me of cattle feed.

Hi Kathy, great to see you back. I'll summarise my 2 weeks of posts for you. Basically they were: 'It's raining. It's flooding'!! We got 35 inches of rain in a week, school out for 4 days, Ingham floodbound, 2 cyclones threatening, etc. Update: It's hardly rained in the past 24 hours and the More...

My best oxymoron (only where I'm concerned, of course) is 'Baked Goods'
 |  |
Great day all!
 |  |
Judy SD, surely the question is not how Hugh managed to have three sons by age 23... he didn't have to leave nine months between each and also get his figure (and strength and sanity) back! ;)
 |  |
Yes!! I have finally edged out Fred for the first time. Must be coming into some form.

Following on from the other day's 1966 comments, yesterday my mother found a year's worth of my old Games Magazines from 1983 - 24 years ago now. The main things that strike me, looking over them now, are the cigarette ads (there were lots! - are they still allowed in American magazines?), and also the innocence of the emerging 'video games' sections.
 |  |

Hi GiGi. You are cute.
 |  |

Good evening to all! I'm late getting on the site tonight. A long day. Hope everyone is having a great day, regardless of the time.

Oh heck BAZ, just for you ... have a mean MAEN man (and in the 1966 venue), Groovy MAEN!
 |  |

I used to subscribe to Games magazine. Haven't thought about that in years.
 |  |

And a funny (I hope) for today....

Two elderly women were fussing about their husbands over tea one day. 'I do wish my Leroy would stop biting his nails. That makes me terribly nervous!' the first one said. 'Oh, my Elmer used to do the same thing,' the other woman commented. 'But I broke him of that habit real quick.' 'What did you do?'

'I hid his teeth!'
 |  |
Keith, I guess most games magas nowadays are all about playstation, nintendo, PC games, etc, not that I have anything against them, but they used to have crosswords and logic puzzles, etc. It would have been great for Sudoku, Kakuro, that sort of thing. Does Games Magazine still exist?
