Rayray - Our news has reported great davastation to the whole country. (At least that is what I understand.) There was a 12 foot surge after the cyclone. I don't know her precise location. Does any one else?

I suppose general communications have been cut. It is an horrific weather event.

Yes Debbie. I have checked too, and you are right. The damage is widespread, including the capital. Flood rains have affected neighbouring countries badly too

It appears that the country of Myanmar has requested "visas" from the people who want to bring aid into the country. Because of that, it is taking longer to get food, medicine, etc. into the country.

Rayray and all other worried about Win, I just heard the latest news about Wyanmar and it is getting worst by the day. It is terrible, 20,000 dead, 40,000 injured and 1 million homeless. They have received help from Thailand but it is difficult to get inside of the country because of floods and broken trees across the road.
