Good afternoon! It's 95 degrees here also ... We're off to the pool soon!

It's been so long ago (well over a year) that I submitted that picture, I'd given up on ever seeing it come up. It definitely wasn't the kind of chair you lean back in. Posing with statues has been a passtime for me for a long time. I have a group of pictures on my Flickr site named "Posing with statues."

I just got in after moving 80 big round rolls of hay. Mostly Timothy. About 1,600 lbs each. In 95 degree weather. On a hot tractor. It's gonna take me some time in the central air to cool off. And I'm tired.

I get that part, Keith, but I saw where your arm is resting.

Debby, we had a brilliant winter day here yesterday, blue sky, warm sun, not a hint of a cloud. So wonderful after our week of rain..............but sometime after I went to bed, about 1am & getting up 7ish, it started raining again!

Sorry about your mail box, Heidi that's terrible. I met someone that used to happen to a few years ago. He ended up leaving it on the ground for a while, but that made it very difficult for the poor postman!

Maz, Broni's cousin. I hope you both have a wonderful time celebrating Maz's birthday!

Kate... this mailbox is made of heavy duty battleship decking ... it was guaranteed to stand up to being run over by a 60,000 lb. bulldozer. It weighs about 80 lbs. And cost me $300. I don't know what they used, but it had to be BIG. This was the 6th mailbox of mine that was destroyed. That's why I went with this supposedly indestructible mailbox. I don't know what I'll get next.

We've lost several mailboxes. Just this year a snow plow got ours late winter and then a teenage girl was waving to one of her friends recently and took it out again along with the neighbor's mailbox.
We finally went cheap, cheap cheap!

Just got home from trekking across the state of IL to bring my son away from college his bed frame - bad storms were again chasing across the state with semi trunks being tossed off the interstate -- luckly it was on the other side of the state for our trip.

Got invited to the White Sox baseball game tomorrow -- storms coming again - so we will either see the game, get rained on, or be hot -- sitting in the shade --- I'm such a princess
