TM says he would miss me at home, but a steady paycheck would be nice, along with health benefits. Besides, maybe then he could afford to hire real help! Maybe they wouldn't flood the cow pens.

Back to disposing the body, a recent show, had the body frozen for about a month before they disposed of it, but the body was dumped in the ocean. I think the frozen body would sink nicely in the cement.

That reminds me of an ancient Hitchcock TV show I saw many years ago. The victim was bludgeoned (don't you just love that word?) with a frozen leg of lamb. Then, when the police came to investigate, they were offered dinner (roasted lamb, of course.)

That doesn't solve the problem of what to do with the body, of course, but it's a great way of disposing of the murder weapon.

Ok, back to marking items for tomorrow's yard sale. Anybody want to buy a kayak for $200? I'm planning to upgrade this year.

Kathy - I sent the answers to your puzzle a couple minutes ago. Then my computer crashed. Did you get my message?

Jane, while you are doing the yard sale thing tomorrow morning, I'll be playing an important USTA Senior match, our last one of the season. We are hoping to finish in second place, but we have to win all three of our matches in order to squeek past the current second place team (from the club I used to belong to!)

Jane, the kayak interests me. My sister lives on a lake and she has a kayak. Her dogs go kayaking with her. It would be fun for all of us to do. Do you think I could row it home?

Got it, Jane!
Which reminds me, my inbox is sadly empty, folks. Are you going to let Jane get away with being the only winner??
09/Apr/11 5:21 AM

Sounds like you could at least row it through the cow pens, Sarah Beth.

GOOD LUCK!!
To Sarah Beth on the job...
And to Kathy on the tennis match(es).

Hope you win your tennis match, Kathy! My partner and I won our match this morning 6-4, 6-2.

I'm having trouble with #2 in today's puzzle, and I just know I'm missing an obvious one.

Now I have this mental picture of Sarah Beth rowing thru' the wet cow pen in Jane's kayak..

There is always the butchering method and great if you have hogs. Though this could also leave a blood trail. Blood tends to go everywhere, even under the handles of knives or axes.

I really need to stay off the Lifetime channel.
09/Apr/11 6:19 AM
 |  |

Human blood can be traced no matter how hard you wash the implements. And the hogs don't eat the bones. I need to avoid any blood loss. Remember, Karen, that the murder cases you're watching have been figured out. I don't want it to look like murder. He just needs to disappear with no clues More...

If he just disappears, how long before he's assumed dead and you can collect his life insurance?

If you just want him to disappear, TM will need a farmhand...hopefully!

Off to shower. We're going out to an Italian restaurant with friends tonight. Check out their menu: http://www.tramicirestaurant.com/spring11.pdf

(I can always add more parties to the reservation if you'd care to join us!!!)

If he just disappears, it's a 7 year wait before he's declared dead and I can collect his life insurance.

Oh, dear! Well, I suppose we could take up a collection to keep you afloat until then. I know! We could throw a really big yard sale!!!

I am so impressed with the answers I am getting for today's puzzle! Some aren't the ones I have, but work just as well!
It has occurred to me that the subject of the puzzle is "beheading". Granted, it has to do with words, but......there seems to be a theme going on here. More...

That was an episode from Crimial Minds, it was a two episode show and they were only found out because one of the victims found a cell phone. I thought they said the hogs ate everything. I cannot believe a TV program would decieve me like that.

The females of this household is torturing the male today. We have one with speedy southend issues, one with speedy projectile issues, and one that is having issues just moving. He ran out of time yesterday in driving and could not come home. He came to 3 sleeping people, who woke up, in grumpy More...

Darn man is sitting on the couch checking his temperature, saying he is not sure which end of his is about to explode. That is so much worse than having 3 females in the house feeling bad.
09/Apr/11 8:08 AM

This is really bad, since I am the only one in the household that is not really sick just sore. Though I am the only one under professional medical care.
