Canuk Greg, no this house is not being sold furnished.
We did not purchase furniture, since we were renovating. Since, renovations were never finished, we did not purchase any furniture.

IO had a cousin who shot himself in the foot to escape WW2. The family disliked him. My sister hit him.

Hi all from Scotland! Had a nice time in London; were staying just by the Olympic Stadium with friends so saw the place the world will soon be watching. The visit inside Buckingham Palace was well worth it and I had tea and scones in the royal gardens afterwards! Now that is posh even if they just give you a paper cup!

Morning all, this bar had even more people in it when we were there last month and that was at lunch time.
Fiona, but it is a Royal paper cup.lol
My Dad use to tell us how some men would swallow toothpaste to put their blood pressure up so they didn't have to leave the hospital during the second world war.

Hal, I lost touch with that roommate before we were even through with college, so no idea what he's like now or what he thinks about having done that to himself.

It was the wedding reception of a friend's daughter. There was a marquee on the forecourt & the flower pots marked the no go area for people who weren't invited!!! It was quite spectacular being there at night!!

Oh well we spent today on a playdate I set up with my former teaching partner's son. At that age they played side by side.

Out here some men drank soy sauce. That brought up your blood pressure extremely high. Some Asians were 4F for that and the thick glasses.

Keith, I'm not surprised. Somehow, I couldn't see you being pals with someone that would go to such extremes.

Suggested solution
c:- Only one number left for this cell.
b:-Only cell left in the 3X3 box for this number.
v:- Only cell left in the vertical column for this number.
h:-Only cell left in the horizontal row for this number.

Well having spent al day yesterday either in the car or in a seminar, I'm back to let you know that my mystery object was a manual stencil cutter. THose of us old enough, will remember the old Gestetner machin which we used to to print newsletter and the like. Mostly you typed up the stencil in the More...

My question for today is how many typos are there in that post. I've run out of fingers but I'm not game to take my socks off in the office.

Nice picture of the Opera House. Last time I was there was 1981 when I saw Pavarotti and Dame Joan

Hal, though I wouldn't do something like that myself, I respected his decision and didn't condemn him for it. He was a good guy in a lot of ways. I can't remember if he was anti-war, or anti that war, or didn't want to put his life on the line or simply a coward. Doesn't matter. He did it and I didn't reject him because he did.

OK, Keith. I can live with that. I just find it a rather extreme measure to take to avoid a bad situation.

(He could have gone to Canada. )

No offense meant to our northern friends.

My last post relates to HalT's penultimate post. I was steering clear of the Gallileo solution.

Unfortunately, his mother didn't know what a telescope was, saylz.
