Shiela, ages since I was first on them all, including kids, parents and jigsaws. Back to bed now. I just got up to get a drink and of course I stopped in here.

all. Is there an M&M crisis, Karen.
12/Apr/12 12:40 AM

Not here, MIL set us up at Easter.

This is referring to the crisis in '69, I believe. Oh, how did you all survive during that time?
12/Apr/12 12:46 AM

Oops, sorry, that was in '96.
I must have missed it.

Was there an M&M crisis in '69? The only crisis I can imagine is if there were no peanut M&Ms.

I don't remember one in '96, either.

This is from the radio station I listen to.

It's M&M Crisis Day!! It marks the day in '96 when astronaut Shannon Lucid reported from the Russian space station Mir she was "absolutely, totally out" of M&Ms. *egads*

Interesting discussion on mice infestation yesterday. One time my cat planted himself in front of the dishwasher. Just crouched there with his tail flipping back and forth. I said to hubby I thought it was a mouse under the dishwasher. He said no, he didn't think so, the cat's just neurotic. More...

Hi, Keith!

Oh, Kathy, if that had happened to me, I would still be screaming.

Isn't the cat's stance, when on a mission scary looking? Mine get this glazed look in their eyes and go totally still, except for the tail that goes back and forth.

We get no warning from our cat. Being a Manx, she has no tail to switch back and forth!

I remember a time, when it took me 10 minutes or less to change the sheets on my bed. Today, I had help and it took over 30 minutes. I did make some progress, when I sent her to take the sheets off her bed, but she returned to help me. Bless her heart.

Can anyone explain me?
I have noticed, each time we have moved, I will take things out of the cabinet, in the FPA and put them in the dishwasher before I pack them. I am loading the special occassion dishes. I know I did not just stick them in the cabinet the last time were used, so why am I cleaning them again before I box them up?

We have an inordinate number of feral Manx cats on the island. Twinky (our kitty) was one before she adopted us. There must be an interesting story there. I know that Manx cats are swimmers, so I'm thinking that they were the cat of choice for early commercial sailing vessels (to control the More...

OK, rodent talk has to stop. Just looked outside and Shelby is trotting across the yard with what looks like, her kill of the day and my little darling is chasing after her. Oh, please don't let either of them bring me a surprise.

Jane, my MIL at one time had a bunch of manx cats, have no idea what happened to all of them. I only remember them laying around and eating all the time.

HI all! Hi also to all the mice in this world - and there are a lot of them - there were three murdered here the other week!
Andrew was the name I wanted yesterday, not Lane, Cane or anything else thank you very much. You Americans sure have some daft names! Well done to Greg, Meg, Peter, Sarah, Pam, Shosho, Grasshopper, Lone, Keith, Jerry, Capt J, Kathy and HalT.

And to today's one - answers to the 'inside out' inbox and I want to know why!

Each pair of definitions is for two words, where the second word is the first word with an extra letter added somewhere (example: band & brand). The length of the short word in each pair is provided.

Also, since I was in the area at the time - stopped offto renew my driver's license -- I don't know why it would cost 10 dollars - yeah right -- it was 30 -- and they don't take visa - didn't have any checks on me and only 27 dollars - have to toss the car - though I would have to ask a stranger for 20 cents - but then found 2 dimes under the seat !

The Lord always provides for us - I am a firm believer in this -- just have to toss the car and look under your car seat ! sometimes

Yesterday, a hummingbird appeared right outside my window. Really close to the pane. So being the kind of person I am, while I was out yesterday I bought a hummingbird feeder. This morning at about 0715, local, I hung it out. About an hour and a half later I saw my actions validated as the hummer returned, this time to feed...

One of these days, I am going to get rid of all my pretties. I think I also say this when I do indepth cleaning, instead of rearranging the dust bunnies. I am always amazed at how many apples and silk flowers I have in the FPA.

With my little helper today, I may not have to worry about cleaning silk flowers ever again. If she did not pick them from the top, while she swooshing them in the water, I think she was playing, "He Loves Me, He Loves Me Not."
I did loose a decorative apple, when took a big chunk out of one, saying she was hungry. Oops.
