Here's today's paraprosdokian:"Do not argue with an idiot. He will drag you down to his level and beat you with experience." 12/Jul/11 12:13 AM |  |
HI all! Can't leave you alone with all these men, Vici! 12/Jul/11 12:14 AM |  |
Here's the first teaser of the week - well in this hemisphere at least! Answers to the tick tock clock inbox!(try saying that quickly) Mad Ade has several clocks. They are all kept in one room. When Mad Ade enters the room he notices something unusual about the times. Clock 1 is at: More... 12/Jul/11 12:17 AM |  |

We're not sure what you are, Kayo. (Sorry, you sort of asked for that one.) Nor do we know where you're from. 12/Jul/11 12:33 AM |  |
Your post wasn't up when I posted Kayo, although even if it had been, like Keith, I'm not sure who you are or who to group you with, the guys or the gals. 12/Jul/11 12:36 AM |  |
Kayo..... I like that paraprosdokian. It reminds me of an episode yesterday with my idiot husband. He got a flat tire. I told him to change it. He refused to (he said that he didn't have the tools and it was too hard a job..... I don't think he knows how to change a tire) and insisted in driving More... 12/Jul/11 12:39 AM |  |

VV,The ants do not have to be big to be in myriads, each with the sting of the devil.Mind you - the bull ants are a little bigger - with a bite proportional to their size - excruciating.Different species have different nest shapes. Some are huge spheres. 12/Jul/11 12:45 AM |  |
everyone! When the photo first came up I thought it was a tree stump. 12/Jul/11 12:50 AM |  |
So right Rayray! Our native red ant is three times as large as the invasive Argentina black ants but are so timid that a gang of black ant will put an end to the red ants very quickly! 12/Jul/11 12:51 AM |  |

Well, Karen I just did that this morning!Put my DIL on the plane to join her hubby in NC! My son is mustering out tomorrow so they have to gather their belongings and move them out here. A cross country drive with a medium size moving truck and a car in tow! 12/Jul/11 12:54 AM |  |
Little B and I are going to the science center today, then to his karate class. I decided this evening that I am going to watch the season opening of Eureka tonight, so I postponed our trip into the mountains. And no we're going primitive - camping. My idea of roughing it is to check into a hotel close to the woods. 12/Jul/11 12:57 AM |  |
 that sentence should have been - we're NOT going primitive - camping!!! 12/Jul/11 12:59 AM |  |
Shosho, do you have the grandson while they do this? 12/Jul/11 12:59 AM |  |

I need to mow before it gets too hot today. It stinks inside my house. Seems someone had to hae a baked potato along with his grilled chicken and corn on the cob. I tried to microwave a potato for him...almost needed his professional services. 12/Jul/11 1:02 AM |  |

Kathy - Not going to cut me any slack, are you? 12/Jul/11 1:18 AM |  |
 Absolutely not, Hal. 12/Jul/11 1:22 AM |  |
ShoSho that is my kind of camping too. If I have to join the family in camping, I like the aminaties of a campsite. Man believes in camping where no man has ever been before and takes forever either by rough terrian or by dangerous water to get there. (Did I spell my big words right)? 12/Jul/11 1:29 AM |  |
 Good Morning 12/Jul/11 1:30 AM |  |
My nephew flew in, on his first solo flight, yesterday. Poor guy's luggage stayed in Dallas. Two weeks with this guy is not long enough. I have two weekend activities, but his grandparents have other plans. So it looks like I might get him a day while he is here. 12/Jul/11 1:32 AM |  |
Grief, the Things want food, again. Why do they think they have to eat everyday, several times a day? They are 2 and 5, shouldn't they be old enough to prepare their own food? Well, the 2 year old does think she can, but there is just something wrong about a 2 year old preparing bacon on that heating thing. 12/Jul/11 1:34 AM |  |
