Correct answers to the Maths puzzle were supplied by Plum,Pam from CT,Jack and Peter. The short answer is an number greater than 86 will provide my ice cremery with a profit of \$25 or more. Grass-hopper sumarised that as they didn't sell much anyway why make more? Hrumph. 12/Sep/11 12:07 AM |  |

 everyone!!! 12/Sep/11 4:58 AM |  |
No I won't forget 9/11/01. Was told as I entered the school office and that there would a meeting before school on how to handle the situation for the kids. We're right next to the Los Angeles Harbor (in fact we can see it from the playground) and many feared that since it was a major port that it would be a target as well. 12/Sep/11 5:06 AM |  |
Many students were absent that day as well. Now as I look back I see that religious zeal without education is a formula for terrorism. Educated people make wiser decision and usually don't go into extreme actions. 12/Sep/11 5:08 AM |  |
Plus the internet has pushed us into being a world community so we have become more concerned about the welfare of people in other countries. 12/Sep/11 5:10 AM |  |
As evident of this site, some of you even though you're thousands of miles (well some only hundreds) away, I feel I got to know you better than some of my neighbors! 12/Sep/11 5:11 AM |  |
 cp! 12/Sep/11 5:11 AM |  |
What we should all do now is not to be terrorized. Go about your normal day with a smile and as a native New Yorker I would like to tell Al Quida that we have a lot of buildings left, you only got two out of a zillion. Nice try but was it worth it? 12/Sep/11 5:19 AM |  |
Yardie Creek. Interesting. We have some villages/towns near us with names like Yardly Hastings and Yardly Gobion. They are on the canal system and are places named after the family (Gobion & Hastings) that "set up shop" doing the yarding for the boats. I'm guessing that Yardie Creek More... 12/Sep/11 5:31 AM |  |

Good Morning all!Another beautiful day here in Brissie. Winter is shutting it's doors and spring is definitely in the air. 12/Sep/11 6:33 AM |  |
Today, we remember friend Renee, who boarded an American Airlines plane in Boston to accompany her good friend on a flight for a birthday trip. Renee left behind a young son and husband. It was a terrible day for us as we learned during a fire drill at school a few minutes past nine that the More... 12/Sep/11 6:52 AM |  |
For those interested, Stosur is leading Williams 1 set to nil right now. Go Sam! 12/Sep/11 7:30 AM |  |
It was one of those few moments when you can recall exactly what you were doing at that moment. It was still the 11th, just, when the first tower was hit. It was the 12th by the time the 2nd tower was hit. It was my sons' 21st & he had just come home from a party. He turned on the TV More... 12/Sep/11 7:39 AM |  |
Go Sam!I am not a tenis fan, but I love to see the underdog get up & show their teeth. (esp if they just happen to be an Aussie) 12/Sep/11 7:44 AM |  |
