everybody.Vici - how do you manage to get up so early every day!! I had to get up at 5:30 AM today to make sure eldest granddaughter was up & at'em. Boy, that was tough. I am NOT a morning person! 13/Mar/12 12:51 AM |  |
There's a very well arranged morning timetable here in Orlando. The house comes alive in shifts! Eden leaves for high school at 6:30 AM, the boys leave for middle school around 8:10, & Asa leaves for middle school at around 9:00. Girls pack their own lunches, I packed the boys'. Now Rob & I have free time until they all start coming home around 3 PM. 13/Mar/12 12:57 AM |  |
Good Maen, good people. Finally feeling better. 13/Mar/12 1:10 AM |  |
Ulura looks lovely - what a treasure of a photo. Thanks for sharing! I always try to get a window seat that's not over the wing if I can. (On my infrequent flights.) 13/Mar/12 1:12 AM |  |
Heidi - I lost track ... did the breech delivery a day or two ago end up okay? How's Bullion (your golden calf) doing? (I named him in my mind.) How are YOU holding up? 13/Mar/12 1:16 AM |  |
Kathy - sounds as if it's Nana nap time. After all, WHAT could you possibly find to do in Orlando? (For a couple of world travelers who have worn seat belts to bed in the Drake Passage, canned Orlando has got to be pretty tame.) 13/Mar/12 1:20 AM |  |
Ah, mymare and Jane - you remind me that I must get the slow leak on my bike tire fixed now that it's spring. 13/Mar/12 1:21 AM |  |
I bought a bike for Faun and myself. We live in such a hilly area, Faun's never learned to ride a bike and I haven't for 35 years. Now I have a truck and can transport bikes to a trail. I looked into the price of adult training wheels. I really did. Very expensive, but I may just have to do it since an emergency room visit costs exponentially more. 13/Mar/12 1:26 AM |  |
 I overshot the cp. 13/Mar/12 1:28 AM |  |
Hi Plum... Yeah, the breech ended up just fine. Last I saw of the golden calf (I like the name Bullion, too) he was doing great. I haven't seen him for a while because after the cows calve, we move the pair to the back 40, where there's good grazing and a couple acres of woods for shelter. I'm More... 13/Mar/12 1:30 AM |  |
Bike riding is one of those things that you never forget, Plum! Of course, for the elderly (i.e. anyone older than myself!), they make three-wheelers. I see quite a few of them around here! 13/Mar/12 1:30 AM |  |
Sounds like Heidi and Kathy are both having very busy mornings! 13/Mar/12 1:31 AM |  |
One calf has been born this morning.... a heifer calf (ear tag #666).... and the first-time cow is taking her time. Next time I go out to check her, I'll take the OB chains with me. 13/Mar/12 2:17 AM |  |
everyone! What a great pic of Uluru! I never thought to take a photo from the air. One of the most extraordinary experiences I've ever had was sunrise there. Just gorgeous color on "the rock"! 13/Mar/12 2:19 AM |  |
I must try and get some yard work done while the sun is shining today. 13/Mar/12 2:21 AM |  |
The answers to yesterday's poozle: 1. key 2. board 3. dock 4. sand Speaking of donkeys...in some parts of the world homegrown fruit will soon be available. I have arranged for winners, HalT, Pam, Heidi, DorA, Mr. Cee, Meg, Captain J, Sarah, lonewoof, and Victoria to attend a decorative More... 13/Mar/12 2:27 AM |  |
That is almost too "pretty" to eat, Kathy! 13/Mar/12 2:28 AM |  |
 Before I leave, might as well take a shot at page 2? 13/Mar/12 2:29 AM |  |
