Happy TuesdayFun's over, time to go to work... 13/Apr/11 12:24 AM |  |
Thank you for your concern about my nether regions, Phantom! No reason to worry, though, as it was a little too cool to enter the water this week as we camped at the ocean. We are returning there next week, however, and it is supposed to be much warmer. So, yes, I will undoubtedly be afflicted by sand in every nook and cranny! 13/Apr/11 12:42 AM |  |
 Frog? 13/Apr/11 12:49 AM |  |
 Wow, Anne. I'm a slacker. I consider it a good day when I can get under 3.5 minutes. 13/Apr/11 12:53 AM |  |
Where do you camp, Judy? My sister and I are tentatively planning a road trip to visit family in Tucson, and I've been thinking of adding San Diego to the itinerary. Camping at the ocean sounds wonderful. Jaime and I used to do that on Ocracoke Island on the Outer Banks of NC. 13/Apr/11 1:00 AM |  |
Yesterday she's inviting everyone to monkey around and today we get the lovely mental picture of sand in her nooks and crannies. Lovely. Oops. Got sidetracked. everyone! 13/Apr/11 1:06 AM |  |
 Am I in time? 13/Apr/11 1:18 AM |  |

Good Morning to everyone. I am just popping in for a quick "hi!" We are taking advantage of the internet at the library. Have a great day! 13/Apr/11 1:23 AM |  |
Although I have that image burned into my brain, I shall soldier on..... The answer to yesterday's (AND day before) puzzle: The big PICTURE I have read that a particular curved yellow fruit is hard to come by at a reasonable price in some parts of Sudokuland. We can't have that! More... 13/Apr/11 1:27 AM |  |
Chomping at the bit for another, are you? Here we go! Letter Equations are well known phrases or facts where the key words have been replaced with the first letter of that word. These are often in the form of an equation, which contain a number, an = sign and the rest of the obscured More... 13/Apr/11 1:40 AM |  |
again. My first post for today was on yesterday's Page 4 - it felt rather odd to do that.Debby - nice to see you here. Hope you're enjoying your time in VA. Keith - have a good trip to the Far East (of the U.S. that is!) Looking forward to seeing you & Lynne on May 2. 13/Apr/11 1:44 AM |  |
Judy, have you considered a wetsuit to protect you from both cold & sand? 13/Apr/11 1:48 AM |  |

Tuesday is Senior Day at the local movie theatre. Rob & I plan to go see The Lincoln Lawyer (Matthew McConaughey (sp.?) ) at 4:40 PM followed by buffet dinner at our favorite salad place, Sweet Tomatoes! 13/Apr/11 1:54 AM |  |
 Sounds like a fun day, Kathy! 13/Apr/11 2:10 AM |  |
Very funny, Kathys 1 and 2! I actually have THREE wetsuits ... one for kayaking, another for boogie boarding and ocean swimming, and waders for surf fishing! We just didn't take the grandkids down to the water much because, while the Pacific NEVER warms up, the air was also cool! Uh ... and this is likely TMI ... I've never really had a problem with the sand thingie ... 13/Apr/11 2:14 AM |  |
We're camping at a State Beach, Jane. While lots of fun and very beautiful, in my opinion, the experience would not compare with camping on the Outer Banks, with their serenity and openness. All of the campgrounds around here are very crowded ... and booked within 10 minutes seven months ahead. More... 13/Apr/11 2:20 AM |  |
Good morning. I am pleased we were told it is a frog!! 13/Apr/11 3:37 AM |  |
I had a problem figuring out what it was even after being told it was a frog! 13/Apr/11 5:12 AM |  |
people. I would like to thank everyone for their warm wishes and encouragement with my job interview. It really helped with the butterflies. I feel wiped out now...I told TM not to expect much from me the rest of the day. It is a beautiful day out. I may go play in the dirt. 13/Apr/11 5:14 AM |  |
Oh, how did it go? I think it went well. It lasted longer than planned, so I think that is a good thing. They have a few more people to interview (I thought one, but the director told me 2-3) I was told they should have a decision in a couple of weeks. 13/Apr/11 5:18 AM |  |
That sounds promising Sarah Beth. You deserve a break. Go make some mud pies. Used to find that really fun, untile we moved to this black clay stuff. 13/Apr/11 5:30 AM |  |
