CP, Mariane, Ian, Mo, Jane, Aileen,Lonewoof, Kathy, Judy and CG all gave correct answers to yesterday's puzzle - either it was very easy or you were all on form! The answers were, surprise, surprise, Walrus, Igloo, Hopeful, Realize, Errand, Imagine, and Saga, all of which combined to make some daft More...

I have some very scary costumes packed in my suitcase for Bean and her family...big plans for Halloween Down-under 2009! The logo is Jane's creation...more readable as a smilie:
Jill - any ideas who or what they want to be this year?

What a cool picture! Thanks, Nal!

Good morning, world! Oh, how I wish I were going to the Halloween party down under! Vici - please don't wait to get home to post pictures of the event!

Hmmm...interesting that my post with the black cat avatar was No. 13. I wonder if there's any significance?

2.27 nal - love the signature in the corner. Nice close-up of a dragonfly.

Well, if Vici's putting on her Halloween costume, I will too.

Some people don't look back (an admirable trait in general, but not here), so I'll repeat one of my posts from yesterday:

I have finished uploading pictures of Lynne's and my trip to Sedona, the Grand Canyon and the Verde More...

Hi Jane - I love black cats (and torties, and tabbies and cats of all colors and stripes). Maybe 13 is the October number of the month and you've initiated it? Maybe the "trick" will be to be able to get both 13 and 31? The "treat" will be ... what?

Question: Does the name "Lynn Larcuzi" mean anything to anyone? I had a very strange dream two nights ago in which I WAS that person.

I haven't looked back, so thanks. I'm still trying to drag forward. The Rx meds I just took had some significant side effects. ugggh.

Plum - Years ago, we had a black cat named Napoleon. She was the sweetest cat we ever owned. (Ummm...I mean the sweetest cat who owned US.)

Now?

Yes, I do have the costume orders in from the kids. The 7 year old wants to be an Angel, the 6 year old wants Tinkerbell, the 5 year old is asking for Spiderman, and the 4 month old will be a lion if I can find the costume in my basement.

I just did a google and white pages search. No Larcuzi surname in the USA! One person listed in a geneology page. Wow. Maybe a So. Am. contact?

Nicely done, Jane. You're too fast for me.

I've had two black long hair cats - Tammy and Heidi. Both lived very long lives, so being black cats must have been lucky for them.

Very interesting about your dream, Jane...maybe you are going to be Lynn Larcuzi for Halloween!
Jill - what a fun cast of characters you will have at your home!
Off to see Keith's pictures...

Keith - I loved your pictures! What intrigues me most about the Red Rocks of Sedona is that the deep red color of the rocks never seems to come through in photographs. Perhaps their color is an illusion...

2:04 Hi to all. An acrobatic dragonfly.
Rolanda congratulations to your son, you must be very proud indeed x

Thought for the Day:

We act the way we dress. Neglected and untidy clothes reflect a neglected and untidy mind.

Today I am acting fluffy with a pink theme...matching my socks. If there are any other fluffy people out there, let me know...
