I solved 9->1. Our first day of spring approaches. We had snow yesterday but not that much. Is this Serena’s photo or someone else from Vermont?

I want to thank everyone who posted here and on TOS their condolences and message of hope for me after that racist attack while I was walking. As I said the school teacher in me came out in full force! I will be back out there walking as I know that scum is an outsider. But to be on the safe side, there's a lot of fallen branches where I walk.

Shosho, I bet if you had pulled out your phone and started taking a video of that moron and his truck, he would have been gone quickly. That type are always cowards.

This staying in the house was getting pretty boring. I decided I might as well accomplish something. I have started in the kitchen. So far today I have a clean stove/oven, microwave, toaster oven, and fridge. I also cleaned the filters in the dishwasher and ran a cycle with bleach. Now I don't want to use the kitchen and mess it up.

For those who have asked, Wally is pretty much the same today, but his CSF (Cerebral Spinal Fluid) tests have been clear, which means his spinal fluid pressure is good and there doesn't seem to be infection. His pain management is now every 12 hours, so that's an improvement.
Baby steps, but steps none the less.

Thanks for the report, Kathy. Wally

If you're done there, Batty, you can come and clean MY kitchen! Wouldn't want you to get bored ...

Thx for the 9-1 tip, Plum. Morning all. We spaced it on Pi day yesterday, so plan to correct that today.

Morning all,

Our borders are sort of closed,Sadly it is up to the incoming to self isolate for 14 days......

The skeptic in me says 'Yeah Right' like that will work. The human race is way too selfish for that to happen.

On a brighter note Woolworths and some IGA's have announced they are opening for one hour for Seniors grocery shopping from tomorrow morning. 7am to 8am. No doubt Coles will be shamed into the same and God forbid possibly even ALDI although I doubt ALDI will.

Thanks, Cee. I wonder how many of those earlier pandemics first had leaders saying it was just a hoax, waiting two months to acknowledge its reality. The Black Plague was one, when everyone and everything was blamed, but you'd think Someone might have learned something since then, or at least believed his own government experts.

This is for Kathy....

Two policemen call the station on their radio.

'Hello. ..... Is this the Sarge?'

'We have a case here, Sarge. A woman has shot her husband dead. He apparently stepped on the floor she had mopped.'

'Have you arrested the woman?'

'No Sarge.'

'Why not?'

'The floor is still wet.'

Alleviating boredom with a cleaning frenzy? Already did that. So....
Today I arranged the hundreds of seashells I collected while on Sanibel Island in an artistic design all over my dining room table. It's gorgeous, but I wonder if I'll be emptying off the design to make room for Easter dinner or be able to leave them there in solitude?

In answering a question on Hard I came across this video that I thought worthy of a showing here. (It's about a dangerous river crossing in the top end of Australia.)

1:40, I had a feeling as I was doing the puzzle that it would have been better attempted as a 9->1 Plum! Good evening everyone, enjoying a nice glass of red while I'm puzzling...

Good on you Shosho, don't let ignorance and bigotry get in the way of living your life! I hope you never have the misfortune to encounter that individual again.

My picture but I don't remember submitting it. We are a lot more spring like right now. No snow, more sun. Not really warm, but you can't have everything.
