Words that shouldn't be used usually used because we can't think of a way to say the same thing without it. My father said if you have to use bad words, it's because you can't think of any other way to say it. Take English 101.

After trying to change my u-tube for the last two days, Crystal put the new one in for me. I need computer classes.

Dorthea I you are missing the point completely. Innocent words are banned because they may have other meanings. For instance, 'côck', is a male bird. Is peacock allowed? It is also used as part of a plumber's terminology as in ball côck, stop côck etc.

I didn't really expect peacock to go through then. As Ian said earlier, the program is getting better.
By the way, that was only one example. There are many more.

And I think I missed out the word 'think' in a previous post. Methinks I should do a more thorough check before I press enter, although self-proofing has it's limitations.

I suppose it can be said that the word 'r$pe' is trapped with ease in the word 'trapeze', so trapeze is a r$pe trap.

To explain the word r$pe to a 5-year old, simply say it is a yellow-flowered crop plant grown for its oil and as cattle fodder.

I have decided to pass a new law -
It is now compulsory to eat thickly layered Dark Chocolate Spread on fresh baguette every morning for breakfast.

GM: I was wondering what to eat for breakfast - now I know. This morning I shall have Dark Chocolate Spread on fresh baguette.

Good morning Rayray et bon apetit, may I make a suggestion - add a few freshly picked strawberries - mmmmmmmm - excuse me whilst I drool

Good Morning GM.
The breakfast was most delicious - but, perhaps it did not comply fully with my doctor's orders

I recently discovered something interesting about fresh strawberrires. If frozen then thawed they assume a flavour more like tinned ones, but the flavour is stronger and more delicious than with tinned strawberries.

Good evening - I'm at work, having a quiet pause, before I need to get up and do some more work. Mr P has just departed for Tokyo for 8 days, and 4T is out at his and his friend's combined 18th birthday party. I foresee a dreadful hangover for him tomorrow. He is staying over, not driving home.

Ian which hours do you want us to count? There are a lot of hours in any given day, any particular two? I have my abacus at the ready...

Andre:
Perhaps Ian is counting his jelly-beans and because he is a slow and accurate counter of jelly beans it takes him one hour between each number

I got one of those calculators from Tescos but it won't count jelly beans -
they are right-protected anti-counters

OMG Rolanda, not just a good day for you! I do beg your pardon...

Rayray, breakfast was so good I have repeated it for lunch. It made for a scrumptious open sandwich. Barbecue homemade sausages and salad for dinner - will that make for a well balanced diet?
