 Good Maen, everyone! 17/Feb/11 12:00 AM |  |
tiddle pom tiddle pom The frogs here croad so loudly and forever ... that tis impossible to hear myself think. I guess it is in response to the inch of rain we’ve had in the past 24 hours and means that the environment is healthy 17/Feb/11 12:01 AM |  |
Try Croak instead of Croad ... and it might make a little more sense :) 17/Feb/11 12:02 AM |  |
Good morning people of the world. 17/Feb/11 12:03 AM |  |
Had a blank square, so for Linds, I looked this up. Happy National Almond Day andFeast of Sticky Buns Day. 17/Feb/11 12:04 AM |  |
 Croad: a croak while crossing the road! 17/Feb/11 12:04 AM |  |
 hehe good one shiela. 17/Feb/11 12:07 AM |  |
I love the frogs but I wish they would Croad to the other side of the road to lower the decibels. Some of the bigger frogs find pipes and delight in the amplification of their croadish voices. I think they must send them selves deaf. 17/Feb/11 12:10 AM |  |
 Good Maen 17/Feb/11 12:11 AM |  |
and these are the big guys, I would of enjoyed a hike to see this - of course, not in the rutting season, not so up close. 17/Feb/11 12:12 AM |  |
 2:01 Good evening all.Up very close and personal, Vici. 17/Feb/11 12:13 AM |  |
Perhaps frogs Croad loudly because they have no ears and cannot hear how loud they really are. 17/Feb/11 12:15 AM |  |
we had rain during the night also. I thought it was suppose to come tomorrow. nice to hear it, just our spring thaw really needs to come in easy degrees to avoid flooding. 17/Feb/11 12:15 AM |  |
I am at my daughter's place. We had a shower of rain this evening and all the frogs were in fine 'croak' 17/Feb/11 12:17 AM |  |
 I, personally, can't wait for the 'Spring Peepers!" 17/Feb/11 12:19 AM |  |
from soggy California! It's pouring so no running outside for me! It's on the elliptical and "Sherlock Holmes" on the television. Prefer trying to catch live animal antics than Downing, Jr but would rather stay dry! 17/Feb/11 12:19 AM |  |
I love the loud deep bass 'voices' of the Bullfrogs, but I guess one might tire of them eventually! 17/Feb/11 12:20 AM |  |
...and we are having a very dry spell here, with the danger of forest fires very high. All burning is outlawed and there are already two areas burning, threatening some homesites. Send some rain this way. 17/Feb/11 12:20 AM |  |
Of the migratory birds, I've seen of course the mallards, but also saw the American coots and my favorite, the snowy egret! Had two near confrontations with skunks, yuck! 17/Feb/11 12:21 AM |  |
 Here's to 22 17/Feb/11 12:21 AM |  |

Although the skunks are probably still hibernating. Summer skunk alerts are where we have to get up in the middle of the night and close all of the windows! 17/Feb/11 12:28 AM |  |
