Today's daffodils are a good reminder that even though winter is coming, spring will follow. I usually put some spring bulbs in the ground this time of year but haven't found varieties for sale that I want to plant. 18/Oct/17 12:15 AM |  |
I promised Skye and Faun a fancy breakfast this morning so we have to get back to it. 18/Oct/17 12:16 AM |  |
I found some strawberries in the freezer. They aren't this season's. I hope they are still good. We are having them with pancakes and a decadent whipped topping made with marshmallow fluff, an ingredient I don't usually like but absolutely love in this instance! 18/Oct/17 12:19 AM |  |

After a night in a hospital bed it is nice to be in my own bed, but I could not get to sleep. Too many naps during the day! 18/Oct/17 1:05 AM |  |
Do you read novels, June? I have an app to read on my tablet in bed until I go to sleep -- be it minutes or hours. The tablet means I can read without a light on and I choose a black background with white letters and turn the brightness down so the screen light doesn't bother Burl or trigger my brain to keep me awake. 18/Oct/17 1:36 AM |  |
