Now, moving on in my life saga, I have discovered an new, to me, household must have. I have a closet, (that is so cool to say, a closet), that is stuffed to the exploding point, with nothing but blankets in it. Sad, thing is, I still have, at least, two more boxes, out in the garage, that need to More... 18/Nov/13 3:59 AM |  |
Now, I am off to do the same, to the sheet, cabinets. Oh, I love this.Wonder if I could do it with toys..... 18/Nov/13 4:01 AM |  |
 everyone!!! 18/Nov/13 4:32 AM |  |
At first glance, seriously weird! 18/Nov/13 4:34 AM |  |
The only way to get rid of toys is to put the ones that the kids do not play with in a hidden place. Wait a few months and if they don't ask where is it, then it's safe to donate them! I did that and it worked until my boys visited my classroom. And sure enough they said, 'Hey! What is my toys, books doing here?' 18/Nov/13 4:35 AM |  |

Shosho, during the moving process, when I was all alone in the packing process, toys, may have, sort of, accidently got lost. The plan, that I shared with Man, should have shared with MIL, that the boxes marked TOYS, stay taped shut, and in the garage, so some more toys, could accidently, become More... 18/Nov/13 5:00 AM |  |
Karen, you might consider donating old blankets, towels, etc. to an animal rescue place. I have taken them to one near here and they were very grateful. 18/Nov/13 5:02 AM |  |
Hi, Everybody. I made it through my surgery and am now in the process of recovery. They'll most likely remove the wound pack and staples, etc. tomorrow. They may even discharge me tomorrow. Thanks for everyone's good vibes, thoughts and prayers. 18/Nov/13 5:06 AM |  |
We solved the ''toy overload'' problem by insisting if a new one came in an old one went out. I must tell you this did not work with stuffed animals. They were ''friends'', and I was told by my (at the time)4 year old that you can't just dump a friend because you get another. I had to give in on that one. 18/Nov/13 5:11 AM |  |
Congrats, Dottie! GREAT news!It sounds like you're in a hurry to get home, and away from hospital food. 18/Nov/13 5:14 AM |  |

OH, Dottie, I am so happy to hear from you, and that all seems to be going so well. 18/Nov/13 5:28 AM |  |
Kathy, I should have said, I have two donation boxes. One, to go to a shelter here, and the other one will go to my neighbor, who goes to the animal shelter, frequently. We lived in a very cold house, where there was never enough blankets. And I can relate to the over population of stuffed animals. 18/Nov/13 5:30 AM |  |

Now, I am having to do a, 'close your eyes and walk away,' moment.Remember the other day, when Sue, said, she is having a time with Harry and his Christmas decorating, and I am having the same trouble with Man? And that Man, wanted to put the tree up, this weekend? And I may have gone all wild More... 18/Nov/13 5:37 AM |  |

Today is my Mom's 98th birthday! We visited her early for her birthday since it was a 3-day weekend last week. I was a little worried about her since she tripped up some steps earlier this month going to a yard sale and had to have stitches. All things considered, she's doing surprisingly well. Much better than many people 15 years her junior. Happy Birthday, Mom! 18/Nov/13 6:19 AM |  |
