Eve ... Kristi was not robbed in my opinion. I think she is very good and probably should have gone on and I voted for her over a couple of the others but then I am influenced by three things. I love country music, she lives in our area, and she is a cute young girl (granddaughter type). She is too young even for my son. [biggrin}

18/Apr/08 5:47 AM
 |  |

obviously not...well I've had an interesting couple of days - had a really sore wrist yesterday, just kept getting worse and worse, and found out today that I'd managed to dislocate it! It's now back where it should be thanks to a rather interesting 'crack'!!
18/Apr/08 5:55 AM

now I wish I knew just how me, a right-handed person, managed to dislocate my left wrist...any ideas? keep them clean please!

Thanks Broni, for passing on my friends message. I didn't know this site was going to be so quiet today or I would have just done it myself.

For those wanting to see the pictures of JD (I won't name any names, andre), you will have to wait a couple days. My friend is known for her procrastination.

Fiona, a dislocated anything is extremely painful... My question is not how you dislocated it, but how you went so long before it was fixed without collapsing in a heap?!!

That's not really sympathetic is it??? To borrow from the chatroom

Fiona glad it has been sorted xx Did you do housework? I never do and now it has been confirmed that I could dislocate my wrist by doing so well... I have to save my hand for raising my glass...

Orianne,
How did you get to 10C? We were only 3C this morning and only 1C yesterday morning. I live in FLORIDA!
Something is amiss.

So glad the op went well, nice to have you back Dorthea but do take it easy and follow the doctor's recommandation.

Fiona, so sad about your wrist. Ambidexterious drinking of wine or beer can help solve your problem. When one wrist hurts, you use the other, snd if you lift enough of the glasses the pain will disappear. Hope it heals quickly!

Those fields of canola are beautiful as you ride across Manitoba and Saskatchewan. Yellow flowers to the horizon, on both sides of the highway.
(But did you know, the ORIGINAL name for the plant is r*peseed? wonder why they changed it...)

Come to think of it -- there's got to be some OTHER meaning for that word. There was a kid in my HS class whose last name was R*per...

Angie W - thanks for the JD story (via Broni). What a nice thing he said to your friend.

Air Supply - a not-so-exciting Blast from the Past - didn't know they were still around. Didn't think anyone cared (or is that just me?)

Dear Fiona, I am so sorry to hear that you dislocated your left wrist. When I broke my wrist it was from pushing a car out of an icy driveway. As the driver was rocking back and forth, my arm got caught in between the car parked ahead and it went crack!!! Did not get it x-rayed until the next day More...

andre - absolutely!

broni - no problem whatsoever. Don't tell andre, but I'm not a JD fan and I'm getting the pictures just for her :)

oh my, I came onto the site with Johnny Depp in the message - love him - actually he was just in Aurora doing his film last week - I didn't track out to see him but I was "near" enough in the next town over to wish it.

Oh, Fiona, so sorry to hear of your injury - I don't think I have ever seen a diloacated wrist - but it sounds like not a fun thing to have - hope you heal quicky - best wishes to you, Mary

lonewoof - Canola is not r*peseed. It looks the same on the outside but it’s very different on the inside where it matters. In the late 1960s, plant scientists used traditional plant breeding methods to get rid of r*peseed’s undesirable qualities – erucic acid and glucosinolates. That means canola oil and meal are different from r*peseed oil and meal.
