Good mAen, good people. We were out trying to photograph 'night scenes' in our small town...and it's tough when the sidewalks are already rolled up by 8:00 pm. Better to wait for mid winter when it's dark in the late afternoon.

If you follow Amelia's idea to do a search for Dry Dock Hotel, Balmain, there is a 'daylight' photo showing all those features being obscured by darkness: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dry_Dock_Hotel

...and a rather late hello! We've begun the chore of putting-away-summer, despite never noticing when she arrived but always aware whenever she took frequent vacations to shine her warmth elsewhere!

Thanks everyone for asking about the marathon yesterday. I'm still recovering, so not even a light jog today. I must admit the old body's feeling a little weary, but I need to get over that quick smart because I have a 31km trail race this Sunday! I'm still on a natural high though, yesterday was everything I'd hoped it would be and more!

Here we are at 33, and it is beer time, but what beer should be have. I saw some footage on Oktober Fest tester nday, and there lots of tankards of Lowenbrau that were being consumed so that will suit me. Maybe a pretzel or two as well.
