A friend found her husband dead in the hall when she came home last night. I'll be around as I can, when not trying to give her a hand.

Let me add a request for thoughts/prayers. My mother has been in chronic pain for years. Had surgery for a major hernia about a year ago. It hasn't helped much, she has seen several specialists for pain management and such. Now they are doing more barium x-rays Monday to see if the hernia is More...

Appy, in my humble opinion, 20/20 is a prostitution of the great game of cricket. Entertaining it might be, but it removes the patience and stamina which are essential parts of the game, and turns it into a 'slog-fest'. What is the world coming to?

Jamie, so sorry to hear about your mother's pain. I've always felt that short term severe pain is far easier to cope with than long term chronic pain. It seems your mother has the worst mixture of both... thoughts and wishes for you and your mom
