I DOOD IT!!!!

Rose, it is good to have a mantra whilst walking and exercising. I had one when the family was getting together for Mum's 80th. Every step I took was done in time to 'My sister's aren't doing this, my sister's aren't doing this'! I lost stacks of weight!
BTW I suspect the mail is very slow. Anyone got their invitation yet?

Heidi - I was busy on the phone - just got the estimate for the data recovery from my dead hard drive.

It looks as if they will be able to get all that I need. YIPPIE...... Now I have to send the media on which to transcribe the data. It can RIP after the organs [my data files] are recovered and transplanted on to a new back up drive.

I just knew it was too easy to go over the top. I was waiting for a bit for your trolley, Eve.

Off to do chores.....well some anyway...at least take care of business...or nap! the joy of being retired. The problem is when you have an early appointment, after staying up too late. Lay down for a second and !

eaa - I love your avatar! Is there anywhere I could go to see a full sized picture of that cute little koala face? Is he/she in your gallery or Flickr photos? One of my biggest thrills during our trip to Australia was getting cheek to cheek with a koala at Koala Park in Sydney!

The Blue & Gold Macaw reminds me of one a friend had. Ornery bird. Had a habit of reaching out and grabbing your finger with his beak. If you tried to pull away, "Carlos" would bite harder, usually just hard enough to break the skin. it didn't hurt my feelings to see the last of him..... (I moved)

I'm sitting down at my computer with a tiny helper. I have a newly hatched chick in my bra. I was just down in the barn and heard some chicks peeping in a horse stall. When I looked in, there were 16 healthy chicks under mama hen, and one little black one off by itself, acting chilled. More...
