That throne seems a tad too small to be comfortable.I suppose it's hard to wear the crown of royalty. 19/Aug/17 4:06 AM |  |
Amy just fits, and seems very happy. Cats enjoy small places where they just fit. 19/Aug/17 4:27 AM |  |

It's been pleasantly cool here in SW Michigan, USA, but utterly unlike 'average summer' weather around here (whatever that is). 19/Aug/17 6:08 AM |  |
How cool, you ask? My feet are cold. In August. It may be because, for some dumb reason, the windows have been closed since the cool of the morning and there is a fan blowing air across the floor creating a draft. 19/Aug/17 6:11 AM |  |
My favorite weatherman tells me we'll soon have a long-lasting warming trend that will take us into autumn. So I won't get out the winter boots just yet. 19/Aug/17 6:14 AM |  |
That's NOT to say that I am driving without my snowscraper! Never. Ever. I'm not one to be superstitious, but one always keeps the snowscraper in one's vehicle at all times in Michigan. Even summer. Especially summer. You think our weather is variable now? Just imagine if even one person dared remove his or her snowscraper from their Michigan vehicle. It boggles the mind. 19/Aug/17 6:23 AM |  |
Or maybe my feet are cold because someone HAS removed a snowscraper from a Michigan vehicle. 19/Aug/17 6:29 AM |  |
I think that, as you read this, in the interest of settling recent extremes in global weather, if you own a car, whether or not it is registered in the state of Michigan, in the USA, you should stop everything else you are currently doing and GO, check your trunk, your backseat, even your garage, More... 19/Aug/17 6:34 AM |  |

Yes! This drift toward 22 has been brought to you by Plum for a Better World, sponsored by the Warm Feet in August Initiative. 19/Aug/17 6:40 AM |  |
 Haha Plum, like your diversion tactics ! 19/Aug/17 7:40 AM |  |
Morning all, kitty needs some arms on that throne. 19/Aug/17 7:46 AM |  |
Such a smooth landing, Plum ...all day I considered a tactic which didn't involve ambling or galumphing, but yours was oh, so smoooooth~ 19/Aug/17 9:33 AM |  |
In our area it's the snow brush we always keep handy more often than the scraper - SNOW - we are noted for surprise all-day snow storms! 19/Aug/17 9:43 AM |  |
Even down here below the Mason-Dixon Line, I keep a snow brush/scraper in my car. Today, however, we are under a sky that opened all its water pipes and turned them on all at once. I can't call it rain. It was just water, coming down in a torrent. Like a million bathtubs being filled at once. A flood in the sky. 19/Aug/17 10:21 AM |  |
Wots wrong wiv an amble now 'n again, Joyce? 19/Aug/17 10:38 AM |  |
I thought Plum finished rather abruptly. Maybe she was plum tuckered out (or is that Aussie slang only), or she got cold feet and gave up.or she just rushed off to complete her mammoth to do list. 19/Aug/17 10:45 AM |  |
Wombat, I went off to send in my answer to your latest 1&3, of course. 19/Aug/17 11:48 AM |  |
Joyce, I agree. Our snowscraper has a blade at one end and a brush at the other. With a long handle so you can reach the center of the windshield. An essential tool. 19/Aug/17 11:50 AM |  |
 Lovely kitty pic! 19/Aug/17 12:36 PM |  |
