I should not gamble. Yesterdays sweep I drew horse number 18 so where did it finish. 18th, of course. Thank you, though, Peter for letting me play

You know, except for the fact there's a dog in it, this could be my kitchen!

My horse came in second in the sweep yesterday! ''Heartbreak City'' is a 7 year old French horse...but, a group of Aussies bought in and he races quite a bit Down Under. Thanks, Peter, that was a fun idea!
And, thanks, Cyn, for the form guide info!

The answer to the riddle is a pair of words that rhyme with each other. What are the word pairs?

1. A literary thief
2. A naked sitting device
3. A literature hiding place
4. An uncooked animals foot
5. A pig meat rip off
6. A prison for Moby
7. A More...

If you haven't seen them, check back to yesterday's horse match up. Some are quite amusing.

I hear you on the insomnia, Bean. I'm a victim myself, and last night was a killer. The good news ... Young Frankenstein was on. Laughed as hard as I did the first time I saw it.

Hello everyone! My assigned horse was no slouch & had the BEST name - 'Who Shot Thebarman', is a Kiwi, and his jockey wears a very distinctive jersey - red with large white polka dots... very easy to spot as 4 others passed him by toward the finishline!

Thanks for including me in the fun, Peter!

Thanks, Shiela, for answering my questions about Myrtle Beach; hope it was enjoyable despite Matthew's visit. Where & what did you do in the Smokies?

Happy Birthday, Jim - if my birthday fell on Nov 1st, I'd choose the jollier moniker! Have a great day whatever you choose to call it!

We're having remarkable weather here for today and tomorrow. High in the mid 70s, might even set a record high for the date. Normally we'd be in the 50s for the high in November.

Morning all, that torn toe is taking a long time to heal.
Had a wonderful day on the Hawkersbury River yesterday ,the weather was perfect and our bus group were great.
Sadly didn't see Kate or her house at any of our stops.
Now it's off up the highway with the van on tow. Bye for now.
